Just goes to show how important the quarterback position is. Not blaming Jay Cutler entirely, but his play hasn't been good and Adam Gase obviously doesn't trust him yet to open things up. I think that as fans we are beginning to realize that it was a big step down from Ryan Tannehill to Cutler.

At this time last year, the Dolphins were 1-2 and looking like one of the worst teams in football. Hard to believe the team is in the same boat this year. I don't know what the solutions are. I'd give Cutler one more game to improve his play or move on to Matt Moore.

The defense actually played a little better and overall have done a nice job versus the run this year. I'd stick with Tankersley at corner and let him develop.

Not sure what else could be done personnel-wise, maybe get Asiata in there at guard and be more physical in the run game.

It's been an ugly start to the season for sure and hard to accept that with New England sitting at 2-2, Miami doesn't look like a team talented enough to challenge.

Gase needs to give up calling plays. He and Cutler are garbage. Cutler needs to be benched NOW. Let Moore have all of the first team reps next week and find a OC.

I disagree. The team has some talent. Not SB talent, but better than current record.
To me, get an OC, be aggressive on O, no more screens. Try that for a starting point.

Gase needs to be real with himself. If he truly feels Jay Cutler just isn't ready for a full playbook, then he needs to pull the plug and give his team the best chance to win next week by going with Matt Moore.

You can revisit Cutler later if anything. The $10 million is spent, **** it.

If you stick with him and that dumb downed offense after these last two weeks, then his status as untouchable should immediately be put in jeopardy because that type of incompetence I don't want or need around my football team.

Adam Gase is a micromanager if he had Tom Brady that wouldn't change. We have seen this before Philbin, Sparano.... Couple more embarrassing losses and Gase will lose the team.

Gase and staff need to burn the Midnight Oil and come up with the offensive scheme. They desperately need an identity and Gase has to relinquish some control to somebody that knows what they're doing with the team on offense.

They say if it ain't broke don't fix it but we're broke folks.

we can't compare this year with last. Last year our 1st 4 games were @Seattle @NE vs Browns and @Bengals on a short week....this year we have played 3 not very good teams and have looked horrible in all 3 of them. What sucks the most is how bad the o-line has been, follow by how bad Cutler and Gase have been.

Ozzy rules!!

That may have already happened, i.e. The Timmons situation. You can't tell me that his awol didn't have something to do with him figuring out this team is garbage top to bottom.

What can be done moving forward........play Matt Moore. Moore doesn't have Cutler's arm strength, but we have all seen him play and he can score points and move the ball. We have way too many weapons to allow this type of offensive football.

The defense has played reasonably well by giving up 20 or less points in each game, but this offense is killing us.

I'm sure nobody wants to have to admit that our $10 million dollar experiment is a bust......but its that, or continue to lose games.

I am comfortable thinking Timmons awol had something to do with Gase and him clashing.

gases play calling is a nightmare yes, but here is the biggest probem... tannebaum and the ridiculously stupid amount of money we are paying n. suh. we will be handcuffed until that stupid ****ing contract is gone

The team has talent, but is lacking at the crucial quarterback position right now. Plus, the talent on the offensive line isn't good enough to dictate the run. Admittedly, that is hard to sustain game-by-game in today's NFL. But the team needs to get better there.

Yeah, I tend to agree there. I wasn't expecting great play by Cutler, but I also wasn't expecting him to be this bad. Agree, there is too much talent to put up a lousy 6 points in two games.
