I'm starting to get to the point where I want to say "F@ck you Ronnie", you are competing against Ricky "F@cking" Williams not some ham-n-egger, carreer second stringer, dude gained 1800+ yards just a couple years ago behind a very poor O-Line. Sure, Ricky will miss the first 4 games, but the O-Line will likely still be developing during that period and I think no matter who starts the first part of the season at RB, its not going to matter all that much...
Don't get me wrong, I was very upset with Ricky, especially at first, but honestly if he had stayed he would have probably had another 250 plus carries and might not have been able-bodied enough to even play this year. I think he said that if he hadn't taken the year off he doesn't think he would be here today. And lets face it folks, whatever he said at the time, the REAL dope that killed Ricky's motivation last year was named Dave Wandstedt.
The point is that Brown should be in camp getting his a$$ acclimated to the system now. If he want's to hold out for more money? Fine, he just need tell everyone that he won't play a regular season down until the contract is done, we have a new Line Coach, and New Offensive Coordinator and Ronnie, you are a rookie, get your a$$ to camp.

It pisses me off that these teams are letting Rookies eat up all that cap space without playing a down.If the reports of Smith getting $24 million in guaranteed money are accurate, the Dolphins will likely have to offer in the area of $22 million in guarantees for Brown. Smith's total guarantee was a 20 percent improvement on what Eli Manning, the No. 1 overall pick in 2004, received from the New York Giants.

As noted on the message board, a 20% increase is somewhat alarming, considering the salary cap only rose about 5.6%.
