Okay, I gave Campbell some benefit of the doubt (though very little) against the Pats... but given 10 days rest against a mediocre Bills team, you draw up another dud? Aside from the Ajayi move, there wasn't anything particularly impressive in this game from an x's and o'x standpoint. The offense was lax, uncreative, and leaning on bad players (Fox) way too much and the defense was very Coyle again (no fire). Too reliant on the d-line. Also, they lose a crapton of important players (Wake, James, etc) and we really didn't see anything moving personnel-wise either. Teams that want to win make moves! The phins? They just kind of float along expecting something from nothing.

I dunno, I just see no coaching flare at all. Campbell? At this point we can say he's just a "rah rah" guy and leans on inept coordinating. That just won't get it done in the NFL. Dominating verbally has to come with a dominant gameplan and forcefully adjudicating your coordinators if they suck ass... the phins FO just doesn't have those kinds of instincts. It's just a bunch of nepotistic good ol' boy stuff, as usual. Make sure "your boy" has a job, etc. Go to hell with that.

I feel bad for guys like Grimes, Suh, Landry, Matthews, etc. Those guys deserve to be on a great team with a solid foundation. We don't have that at all here and Campbell didn't bring it as an interim. This is a team is very close to chaotic freefall. Makes me kind of ill.

Will be interesting to see if the players roll over against Philly.

It will be relly hard for miami not to make a seriuos move for a payton if available...feel bad for dc though. This gig is way over his head

Over his head? It's not goddamned rocket-science. You either have it or you don't. He doesn't have the inherent balls necessary. Seems like a big, tough guy, but really... he seems rather soft to me at this point. Chuck Norris would definitely kick his ass. :idk:

DC has to work with the same trash coaches that were part of the Philbin era. I give him the benefit of the doubt for at least trying to make something out of nothing.

He is 2 - 2. Still 8 games to go.

I'm more concerned about Lazor's play calling....

You can't implement a total new scheme mid season. We got the players we got, and the coaches we got. There isn't a magic play to pull out of our butts to make wins happen. Our O line is horrible, our secondary isn't much better(Jones excluded) and really no talent in the LB core. We have a handful of nice players, they can be built upon but thinking we have this talent laden roster is crazy.

we've got NFL-OJT in effect... résumés accepted starting Dec 1st
