I'm looking for some blessing when it come to the college free agents that the Dolphins signed this year. I dont know too much about the guys we sign. I'm hoping that we could've landed some gems that could possibly make a big difference. So, i would appreciate it if anyone could give me some input on who they think was a good college free agent that the Dolphins was luckhy to get.

The names the i found that we sign are:

Those players are defensive end Bruce Mkristo (Washington State), defensive tackle Marquay Love (Houston), linebacker Edmond Miles (Iowa), cornerbacks Tuff Harris (Montana) and Geoff Pope (Howard), guards Tala Esera (Hawaii) and Stephen Parker (Arkansas), tackles Marion Dukes (Clemson) and Julius Wilson (Alabama-Birmingham), safeties Courtney Bryan (New Mexico State) and Chris Vedder (San Jose State), and wide receivers Gabe Hatchett (Oregon State), Kerry Reed (Michigan State) and David Sutton (Texas-El Paso).

Bruce, Wilson, Esera and Pope should be the front runners to have a chance based upon their rookie draft rankings. Maybe Parker but the rest appear to be fodder.

Mkristo Bruce was a sack machine in college. I'd say he has a real good shot at making the roster.

Edmond Miles was voted Special Teams Player of the Year in college. And he's fast. Could turn out to be the next Larry Izzo.

Tala Esera and Julius Wilson were both 5th round projections. Our lack of o-line depth could mean roster spots for both of them. I can almost guarantee you at least one of them will make the cut.

A guy you didn't mention is David Lofton. He's a safety. Good speed and measurables. His father is Hall-of-Fame WR James Lofton. I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict David Lofton makes the team.

Geoff Pope is the fastest rookie coming out this year. But speed isn't everything. Pope is probably a project. Good shot at the Practice Squad.

David Sutton is also a speedster. He has a good shot at the Practice Squad as well.

Marquay Love, Tuff Harris, Stephen Parker, Marion Dukes, Courtney Bryan, Chris Vedder, and Kerry Reed are all longshots to make the team.

Gabe Hatchett has already been cut.

Jared Zabransky When he gets cut by houston
he is a stud watched him for 4 years

You forgot the most important player and you also forgot Malone at WR.

David Lofton is the guy I'm rooting for. Two big reasons why: 1.) We need a star safety to develope on this team, the safety position scares the bleep out of me in the event of injury.

2.) He has all the tools and more. 6'4" 220 with 4.4 speed and is amazingly quick and fluid.
Maybe all he needs is some time playing against top competition.

I also like Tuff Harris who has proved he can play. He just doesn't have the natural gifts like Lofton.
