Let's say the Dolphins end up with the #3 pick in the draft (maybe even #5 - there are a lot of bad teams out there). What could they legitimately offer to the #1 team to get the top pick? And would it be worth it?

Last night I was thinking they could offer all 53 players and even the cheerleaders.

But, seriously? Maybe if the Colts got the first pick, they could do without Luck if they got Jake Long and our #3 pick. (And maybe something else.)

Our whole draft. Oakland just ponied a 1st and a 2nd (that could be a 1st) for old, washed up, broken, ill-advised pass throwing Carson Palmer.

If Carson Palmer is worth 2 1st round picks, then I don't think there's anything we can trade to get Luck.

The Broncos are STRAIGHT UP tanking to get him. They just traded away their best weapon to suck for luck. That's how coveted the guy is.

based on what was offered for Palmer - id say any team would have to offer - Three first round picks (2012, 13, 14), 2 second round picks(12, 14), three third round(12,13,14) picks and the rest of the 2011 picks

That Carson trade should send a chill through every team looking for a QB. If that broken down old mule is worth 2 1sts than what's a franchise QB for the next 15 years worth? Ugh. We need to be the worst or settle for the consolation prizes.

well if carson is worth 2 1st rounders, i guess that would make luck worth about 8-10 first picks. then we could trade our stadium, go play at the marlins new dirt field. that would probably do it.leave it to the raiders to ruin it for everybody else.

Al Davis is dead, but his spirit lives on. Palmer is not worth two 4th round picks.

Ideally the best case scenario is if St Louis ends up with the #1 pick. They're more likely to let it go than Indy would be. I would start with this year's and next year's 1st and 2nd rounders plus any player or 2 from our roster not named Pouncey or Soliai. From there we could start throwing in 3rd rounders.

Probably start with 4 1st rounders but that's assuming the team drafting first would be dumb enough to trade the pick away. I just don't see it.

LUCK is not a savior... this team need someone that leads the guys. sparano is a nice guy but lacks power and drive to guide the team. we need a great coach not a great QB right now .
