Ok guys, I know some of you are gonna say a "sixpack" or a bag of balls, but if we were to attempt to trade him after the season, what could we realisticly expect to get in return? The Eagles got a 1st and a 4th for Bradford. Would we get a 2nd for Tannehill? A third?? It would be nice to go into the draft with several high picks.

Teams won't trade for him because they know we're going to cut him next offseason to avoid his big contract.

But IDK what someone would trade this year.

I think we could get a 3rd. Maybe.

I had this argument with a Vikings fan during the game tonight actually. Seeing as he traded for Bradford it was an interesting perspective. He seemed to think we could easily get a 2nd or 3rd for him this season. I called him nuts. But lets say a player like Eli Manning goes down. That team is pretty complete, wouldn't you move a draft pick for a potential band aid. Similar position I would for sure take the call.

There's too much bad tape and Gase for some reason is well respected as a qb guru. So what could they hope to get out of him? No one is trading anything, even a conditional 7th rounder for Tannehill. He's not going to get another chance to start and his contract prevents even a desperate team with a devastating qb injury from even thinking about trading for him. He'll be cut next year (hopefully) and will sign as a backup somewhere for very little money.

Depends on the market and when you try to move him.

Tough to say, because the Minnesota situation was very unique.

There is 4+ years of tape. Our division foes, understand it, why don't FinHeaven?

We'd need to take advantage of a situation like Minny's. Also Tbum is no great negotiator. Maybe a 2nd.

We do! Some of were holding on to that last shred of optimism, but that all ended last week. You have no more people left to argue with so its time to let it go. No need to kick anybody while their down with an I told you so. Just know we can rally around the team with United vision and hopefully move forward with a new qb next year.

If a playoff team loses it's QB, we could get more for him than we would expect and that he's worth. If people just look at stats we could con another team out of a high pick for him if we played it well.

I agree. But you guys were rough....for years.

My original stance on Tannehill, not at #8. If so he starts day 1, game 1. Know by year 3 what you have. Don't end up with Snatchez type contract.

Hope for the best. Seen those glimmer moments. Eventually you make the play or you don't. It's that simple. It's football.

This FO will not trade him or cut him. Their pride is on the line by saying for years that St. Ryan was their franchise QB. So I don't know how they get out of this one.
I'd like to see what Doughty has, but I'm sure Moore, being the no.2, would get the nod ahead of Brandon.

Tannehill has 2016 to play for 2017.

If I was Gase I would be looking to see if the Bears cut Cutler next year. Can't believe I'm typing this
