Technically we used a 2nd to fill the RB position in the draft so not that crazy.

And if he plays well enough to warrant the highest potential of the conditional pick, it would probably be a very high level. Thus showing he is capable of producing and that we should keep him around.

Also hes not just "the RB position" hes the flex option, the match up problem, and the speed we haven't had maybe ever.
 
This sounds like nuts to me even if he plays well he was history with that club anyway. It sure better not be that high I was under the impression it was a trade of 6th round pick and or they give us a 6th and may recieve our 4th which was still high IMO.

lol you mean paying a 4th rounder that could become a conditional 2nd rounder and a player for a player who was going to be cut isnt a good deal for us?

I've been on this site a very long time, and I don't usually post much, but I felt compelled to comment that the amount of idiocy I just saw in this thread is by far, some of the worst I have ever seen on Finheaven, and that's saying something.
 
will you guys relax? the picks were never disclosed, and if they are "undisclosed late round picks" then I wouldnt be too worried...

reggie might be worth it
considering how many checkdowns from chad he will turn into big gains..

Where did you hear this? It was a sure thing that Reggie was going to be released, so I find it hard to beleive we gave up a potential 2nd rounder for a RB that has never rushed for 600 yards or played a full season.

I heard it on the radio either 640 or 790 am
I heard it was conditional if reggie met certain parameters
then the pick could go as high as a second rounder
Though that could mean reggie would have to have a pro bowel like season..

Given Reggie durability he has never shown to stay on the field a whole season
so if your ireland and sparano you probably like we wont have to worry about this and if we do thats a good thing

Now did reggie get an incentive based contract?
He sure acting like it getting in good shape and wanting to carry the load..

What if the condition was that Reggie plays in all 16 games and the Dolphins make the AFC Championship game? Would a 2nd round pick be acceptable then?
