I am a Pep fan, but I must admit . . . Joey looked much better dropping back and his decision making was quick . . . he was viewing the field real well. However, he also got much better protection today than Pep has gotten. The Line definetly had their best game.
In fairness to Pep, Joey threw 2 critical INT's in situations where Pep probably takes a sack or doesn't make the throw . . . and u have to look at that as well.
Personally I think Joey should get another start, simply because he doesn't look injured like Pep does. Everybody was getting on Daunte about him holding on to the ball too long and maybe not viewing all his options . . . but what concerned me more than all of that was his leg strength . . .both on his drops and on his throws . . . and that is why JOey is the better option, because Joey is 100% healthy.
