Man did he throw a pretty ball at the combine as I watch him... Confident kid, good size, athletic... but seemed constantly injured in college, no?... Sure didn't have a very commanding senior season, it looks like... But good numbers as a junior....

Any insight from our Michigan Fins fans would be greatly appreciated...

from wat i see i think he has very good potential to be a good QB in the
nfl hes also tough as nails.

Dude. Get off the we are drafting a QB in the first day of the draft fiasco. If MIA is interested in Green, then MIA isnt thinking about drafting a QB, period.

If they dont trade/sign for Green, then they will only look for a QB no earlier than the 4th round. With a guy like Edwards or Kolb. But I see Green being the 3rd QB aquisition.

Quinn nor Stanton will be MIA targets. Trust me.

I like him, don't think we'll draft him. I think we need to sign a veteran back-up in case Culpepper doesn't get it together. Now if Culpepper wasn't a question mark I wouldn't mind them drafting Stanton in the 2nd or 3rd and groom him for later.

Very inconsistent. Has good physical skills but questionable decision making. Ryan Leaf also had those traits tied to him and he's bad company to be with. But he's still better than Trent Edwards in that regard. If he's drafted, he really better hit the books and work on his shortcomings because if he doesn't, see Joey Harrington. This isn't a very good looking QB draft class outside of Quinn and Russell.

Very accurate I saw him at that QB challenge along with troy Smith and the Kind from Florida... By far the most accurate hiting a moving target from short to mid range to the deep moving target he hit them all... As for Troy he hit I think one out of the four targets... LoL

His deep ball was also in line with all of the other reciever there as well.

Would much rather have Quinn, I think Stanton is too big of a project for us right now, we need a Qb that can start after 1 season at the most on the bench. I don't think Stanton would be ready that soon.

Randy is this you. And no I don't trust you. I just hate when people talk as if you know what Mia will do like its a given. If so why r u at home and not working for them or espn. Is so hard to say somthing more humble like I don't believe we pick him because of this and that. Basically I see the same comman thing with people say for sure they wo't select this guy or that guy and thats because they are trying to make it look like they will draft the guy they like. Anyway as far as Staton don't really like him much great physical talent but just can't get it done on the field looks lost at times with decision making. Also folds under the pressure. Needs very good coaching and time on the bench. Reminds me some of jeff George great at work outs just never gets it done on Sundays.

Too bad the coach at MSU was such a simpleton. That dude made a mess of MSU. I wish stanton would have played for the hawks, (IOWA), we would have been great the last two years if not three.

People also say russell can't read defenses well, and he's rated above quinn in EVERY mock you see.

So I guess I don't see why ppl are so high on quinn. We hired his qb coach, wow I'm impressed. Every day I get on here and ppl drool over drafting quinn, who is rated lower than a guy who is supposedly dumb, yet I am supposed to get excited about having quinn, and am told be turned off by stanton who is supposedly light years behind quinn.

I can't wait til this is all over and we can talk about something else, like why didn't we trade up for quinn we're so stupid for not giving away the farm for this supposed franchise qb, who actually thinks he has a shot at being the #1 overall pick.

rant over thank you for listening.
need a beer. yes thank you.
:bighug:

I really, really like him. As a Michigan fan, he was the only reason I worried about playing MSU every year. He has very good footwork and can be moible when he needs to be. He has a nice touch on the ball, and has decent arm strenght. His mechinics are a little sloppy, but overall he would be a very good pick at the 60th pick.

I disagree with your opinions..... Signing a 37 yr old doesn't negate the need for a Qb of the Future, so that makes no sense. It's possible we take a QB day two, but to say we wouldn't consider one before that.... with all our picks ??? Let's see what happens. I'm sure we'll try like hell to get what we can from Cpep and try to turn Cleo into a good Starter.... but accomplishing both is the only scenario where i don't see us needing a future franchise QB. When will people begin to notice the majority of playoff teams each season are led by premiere QBs who happened to be selected very high in their drafts ??? Sure you got Brady and Hasselbeck, who happen to be on perhaps the best franchises in their conferences.

Do you not realize Culpepper's career could be over? It's not a given he'll ever be good again.
