Hand it off without fumbling, be able to throw past the line, has a fair spiral, and able to avoid throwing to the incorrect team. Not to mention, able to see on his blind side and behind him.

Someone not named Fiedler, Lucas, Feeley or Frerotte.

No but seriously, just someone who can manage the game and not throw picks is fine with me. Frerotte may still be that guy.

Yeah my preference in this day in age would be the Brady type. I think if Peyton Manning (or a Dan Marino in his prime) were plugged into this team we'd be well on our way to a Super Bowl, but for me it might be too soon to have another QB like Dan (if ever there will be one) on the Fins.

I want our third Hall of Famer. Why be satisfied with less??

To get one we most likely will have to draft a QB on the first day for the first time in 23 years.....

Someone with a blend of all those qualities.

In no order I want a qb with a skill set consisting of: good enough arm strength to make just about every throw, excellent accuracy+touch, great pocket awareness, great vision, ability to read and understand defenses, and who excels in the areas of leadership, game management, and clutch play.

Not required: mobility/athleticism, Vick type howitzer arm strength, qb's that are there solely to not make mistakes aka Dilfer, Fiedler, types etc.

I want a QB that when he needs to I can watch Saban hand him the keys and watch him say, "go lead us to these game winning points son". God help me if i have to watch another person say "I want someone who can go manage a game and not lose it". I hate to quote a anything Jets but c'mon fellas "You play to win the game!" That means you need a qb who can grab that game by the marbles and say "Im your daddy and there isnt poop you can do about it"

I want the accurate passer/manager and leader. I would love another Dan Marino but they do not come along that often. I do not want the guy under center, that has the Deer in the Headlights/Brook Trout Look (ala A.J. Feeley).
