What do you as a fan want from a Miami Dolphins Starting QB?

If you listen to some peoples reasoning 3/3 would be "HOF" QB's

I just want somebody that can throw the freakin football, with at least 80% accuracy; and someone who could throw a ball farther than 35 yds {on the spot}. The leadership is important but I just want someone who can keep our defense off the field and score some points and spread things out and not be one dimensional. To ask for a Marino like QB is impossible at this point for this team; Reasons: no cap for a big time QB, we would need to find a diamond in the rough in the draft, and need to release some players for lesser caliber players. We need someone who also keeps mistakes to a minimum, and can handle a blitz. We meed a miracle.... in other words.

I'd say decision making and leadership are more important than beautiful passing ability. Your categories seem to overlap a little.

Wins are ALWAYS more important than stats.

IMHO, one of the best passers recently was that moron that played for the Colts, Falcons and Raiders. He threw perfect, laser-like accurate passes but he totally lacked leadership skills, and his teams won plenty of games but when it REALLY mattered they always faltered.

Montana, Brady even Plunkett are more my type of QB. Smart, gritty and TOUGH.

actually, find that mold, and make us 2 of the guy so we have his replacement when he retires.
