For me it is the baseball infield: That's it. You?

I've never been, but it seems the field is a lot farther away from the stands than most other stadiums. Seems like it'd hurt our "home-crowd" advantage.

Baseball field, seats are too far away from the field, other then that I can't think of much. Maybe some more options for food and ****.

We have a ****load of parking though. I think our stadium would be sick with a dome.

My biggest beef with it is that it wasn't built as a football only stadium.

They built the stadium wider to accomodate soccer matches. The stands are farther from the field and are at a much shallower incline than football only stadiums.

The stadium does not hold fan noise worth a crap.

Robbie wasn't thinking about that when he built it but it took all of one season before the problem started to get noticed.

Secondly, I hate the area.
I believe it should have been built in an area that showcased the city of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale by the water.
Many cities planed to build their stadiums near downtown to stimulate the economy and showcase the city itself.

The bayfront park area where they talked about building a baseball stadium in Miami would have been perfect.

I really miss the Orange Bowl.
Yes, I know it was a ratty old dump by the time we left but it was a great stadium.

You knew you were at a football game when you were in there as the noise just made the atmosphere electric and you knew you were at a football game in Miami with that open end zone with the palm trees and view of downtown Miami.

Back to Joe Robbie stadium, the one thing I love about the stadium is that it's NOT A DOME.
Domes suck!

How the seats are never full!!!!!! The Sb will be the first time all season long the thing will be full.......thats a shame if i lived closer to Miami and had the money for season Tickets i would go every game!!!!!!

So many empty seats when your watching on tv.... Surprising the seats are so far from the field.
Think they'll go for a new stadium soon even though this one isn't that old?

It was packed in the Orange Bowl game for Louisville vs Wake Forest.

I'll second that. So why is it?...Well South Florida is a melting pot for northeasterners....especially the snowbirds during the winter season. It does suck when you hear just as much cheering from the darn Jet, Bills, and Patsie's as for the Fins.

A state of the art stadium would be nice for the fact that the team deserves to play on a field without a dirt infield, but I remember the Orange Bowl games I went to back in the day....the place was always rocking...good or bad. :)

Hopefully Wayne will make it happen, but I think no time soom since he's renovating the current stadium right now. :(

The seats sit too far away from the field!!! We have the most ridiculous looking stadium in the entire NFL. With the seats sitting so darn far away and the infield dirt it is just pathetic!!!!

FIELDTURF! FIELDTURF! FIELDTURF! FIELDTURF!...if the Marlins wanna stay & play, learn to do it on FIELDTURF!...oh, and by the way...FIELDTURF!

I dislike that I have never been to it.... not really the stadium's fault though, is it?

I disliked that they changed the name from Joe Robbie, but at LEAST they haven;t sold out to crappy corp sponsorship names like "Now, from Fruit of the Loom Stadium!"

B.

Forget even having money. I would go broke just to watch the Fins on Sundays. The only problem is that I live about as far away from Miami as you possibly can. But hey, I did convince my family to take a big vaction to Orlando which included a trip to Miami for a game. Even though Miami lost the game, that was the BEST vacation ever!

I have never been to Dolphin's Stadium but it doesn't look like it has the same atmosphere that the Orange Bowl had. The Orange Bowl seats were closer to the field, the noise level was much louder....you had the palm trees and the dolphin tank in the end zone. Dolphin's Stadium looks like a square out in the middle of nowhere. I think the dirt infield and having to share the place with the Marlins is a joke. I would just give/sell the stadium to the Marlins and build a better football stadium in a better place.
