Extend Moore, think he's just as good as Smith, and pick up a vet like Garrard to create competition in camp. Then draft Tannehill or Weeden. We will be fine but don't like this whole desperation thing. Prisco is right.

Yes. Moore starts, Garrad backup, Tannehill works his way up the depth chart and starts later in the season if need be or if Miami is out of contention.

I dont see how we are acting so desperate. Just because our fo is exploring all their options and not signing 7th round backups for nine million a year.

i was thinking the same thing, if we sign smith for that kind of money then drafting a qb high goes out the window
