I think over there in SD it's getting pretty heated. I honestly don't know if anyone could turn that team around but Marty might be gone after this year.


What would you think of him coming to Miami?
 
WHY? He has sucked everywhere he has been of late. He was good in Cleveland........20 years ago. He was good in KC.......over 10 years ago.

He sucked in Washington and sucked in SD. So, let's hire him so he can suck some more? Please!

After reading your post Ricky just called LeBatard to remind eveyone he is retired and won't be coming back. Hiring Marty would only make him buy stronger weed because of the notion he would be run 75 times per game for 16 games. Ricky is now boarding a plane for the North Pole.
 
Schottenheimer is Wannstedt, only more conservative and stubborn.

I'd rather have Rich Kotite.
 
Nobody says Wanny was good. What does that have to do withnit. We know he sucks, but we dont need marty.

God you are so right! It would just be a continuation of the same theme. A guy who will not, I repeat, will not adapt to the strengths of his football team and therefore will never, I repeat, never win consistently in the NFL especially in the playoffs. God Marty would be the WORST coaching move ever. I would rather keep Wanny. There are some really talented younger coaches out there hungry to make a name. I personally would like to see an offensive coordinator in here. But that is way down the road. I prefer to wait and discuss this after the season.
 
I would NEVER want Marty Schottenheimer anywhere NEAR this team.
 
And worse than Wanny, Marty is only coaching for a paycheck at this stage of his career.

Give me Mike Brainfartz any day of the week over Wanny or Marty.

Thsi says it all....Miami needs to go in a completely different direction...someone that will open up the offense and is not afraid to go for it on 4th and 1 on 50 down by 14.
 
Try suggesting that on a Chiefs board and see what the reactions are: They simply hate him. he is the only guy who is even more conservative than Wannstedt and the only guy with a worse playoff ratio. I think he has not won a single game within 10 years or so.

If he would be the new coach we should also bring Olivadotti as D-coordinator back. Perfect match
