What do you think of Ikaika Alama-Francis?

They say hes showing alot of potential right. Lets say if he and misi both break out what do you do? You cant bench wake!
 
I think if he pans out, great. We'd have a hell of a rotation going on there. He has that perfect size that 3-4 coaches dream of to put at SOLB, and on top of that, he appears to be fluid in coverage.

And his arms are longer than a foot long.
 
i would prefer him to koa misi, his size and ability would make for a better run stopping SOLB. misi is smaller, and not as strong. both were second round picks. ike just looks like more a savage, a big olb. i would rather have misi as an ILB at 250lbs but thats me
 
Ye when we drafted Misi i was wanting them to put him on the inside............theres still time, lets see what pans out.
 
I don't care who starts. As long as they help us win. Whether they are a high round draft pick or a unhearalded journey man does not matter to me. The guy definately has the size for the Sam. We may see him in on running downs and the quicker Misi in on passing situations.
 
Im really pulling for this guy.I hope he becomes a starter.

We picked him up off waivers I believe. Or as a free agent. Either way it was last year right after we released Matt Roth.

He was a mid-round selection that was stuck in the purgatory that was the Detroit Lions and the Paul Pasqualoni defense...perhaps a person that can actually coach can unlock his skill set.

I'd like him to make the team, it would be a good story, but I won't shed a tear if he doesn't make the team at the end of the day. We are so stacked at linebacker it's going to be hard to choose to keep.

Which of them is faster though? Imagine two quick pass rushers (the other being Wake) coming at you!

Believe it or not he was drafted in the 2nd round. It was the Lions though, so. :lol:
 
The Dolphins have to have some of the best scouts in football. Year after year they are finding no names and turning them to contributors and in some cases stars. Names that come to mind are Polite, Bess, Carpenter, Culver, Berger, Garner, Haynos, Sperry . This year it looks like Ikaika & Baker are gonna be the latest darkhorses to succeed. Like X-Pacolypse said, I want that kind of problem.

Exactly. If IAF pans out awesome. Not sure where people are getting these crazy ideas that we'd have to move Misi or pick one over the other. IAF would be stealing snaps from Anderson and Moses, and that's quite fine with me actually.
 
This is the guy ive been waiting to see since we picked him up last year. I think he is a keeper.
 
Ike will make the team and have a break out year. He was on the Lions which as we all know was/still are a horrible team. He's here now and focused 110% on football. Get ready to see another beast on the field.
