Hello dophin fans

I am a falcon fan and I wanna know your thoughts about jim mora. Jim Mora is a good head coach I hated to see him go. He was the first coach to give this team some hope every year. The team was very close to him. He would be great for the dolphins. If he brings knapp in your phins are ruined. Knapp is one of the worst OCs in the nfl. He is way too conservative and doesn't use his players to thier strengths. The only good thing that can possibly go right if Mora brings in knapp, is if you trade for schaub. Jimmy is a good coach the only reasoons why he was fired was the washington thing and his bone head coordinator knapp. If we didn't have injuries we would of been in the playoffs(just ask jake of the panthers). So basically I just wanna know what you think of mora and what questions you have about him.

P.s Saban sucks for what he did

I'm not comfortable with Mora if he wants to coach college just like Nicky. It sounds like you guys had identical problems with the offensive coordinator. And if Mora did come who's to say he wouldn't bring that OC? You know how egotistical HC's are. I say there are better candidates out there.

I would love to have Mora in Miami,I think he could turn this offense around and take us to the playoffs.

He would be alright, but most definately without Gregg Knapp his OC and whoever the DC was, I think it was Ed Donatel. The had no control of what the hell was going on up here with the falcons. I can say one thing about Mora, he sticks by his players. He stuck with Vick in every PC almost to a fault. It didn't matter how bad Vick played, it was like Vick was his son. When Vick got a chance to stand up for him, he threw Mora under the bus like the quality person Vick is. Vick blames everyone but himself, its incredible to see and hear on the local sports shows.

There is something about him that i like, he seems like a players coach, but also know how to put his foot down (when his owner lets him). I wouldnt mind seeing him here

I dont think about Mora. That stunt he pulled on radio was loony.

No thanks, I'm also from Atlanta and all I saw was a team that made the NFC Championship game with Dan Reeves players. After that, Mora did nothing but become everyone's buddy instead of a coach and mentor. He always supported Vick even when he should have ripped his butt for his crappy play because he wanted to be his buddy. Truth is, as long as Blank has control of the team Vick will be there to get pushed around in a wheelchair by him. If Atlanta would have run a traditional West Coast offense instead of an altered West Coast that was catered to Vick's strengths and played Schaub, you guys would havebeen playoff bound. Mora wouldn't do what needed to be done to win in Atlanta and I don't believe he'd do it in Miami. We'll take our chances elsewhere.

As for the Falcons, I hope they find a way to keep Schaub because he will be the QB Atlanta needs, but they probabally won't because of their salary cap unless they unload a heavy contract like Dunn or Vick. Dunn is more likely let go because of Norwood's emergence this year. Whoever they let go, they need to address the secondary jus like our Fins.

Best of luck next year, but I hope Gailey and Mora stay in Atlanta and out of Miami.

Dan reeves players are ray buchanan,Tyrone williams, Peerless price, Trevor Gaylor, Shawn Jefferson, Ellis Johnson, Gerald McBorrows, Quentin McCord, Doug Johnson, Kurt Kitner, Ashley Ambrose. You can practically say that Nick saban went 9-7 with dave wannstedt's players

Might be the case, but if it was Mora's personnell that got him to the Championship, how do you explain the last two seasons ending by self destruction and no playoff returns? I just haven't seen anything that makes me think Mora could get it done.

Injuries

Injuries are a part of the game. Good teams have depth at skill positions and coaches have to put the right people in place. I don't think Mora did that, otherwise Atlanta could have gone somewhere this year and last.

I would lov to hire a young coach that can grow with the team and stick around for more than 2 or 3 years. Jim Mora, Jr. would be an excellent pick as he has real NFL experience and didn't do a bad job in Atlanta. Everyone struggles in their first job and I'm sure he learned and made some mistakes in Atlanta (including the on air remarks). That guy has a lot of good years left and seems to have some class, especially the way he handled the media interviews subsequent to his firing. Oh yeah, he likes running the football and next year we're gonna have Ricky, Ronnie, Morris, and hopefully, a healthy Daunte. Yep, a real running team. GO PHINS~!
