Sitting here watching the Eagles, Jets, and Patriots and the way their front offices are aggressive and make bold moves makes me frustrated to be a Dolphins fan. While the Eagles are busy making moves this offseason that should leap their defense easily into the top 10 this year, what has Ireland done to improve our offense so far?

Reggie Bush could be a nice addition, he could also miss a significant portion of the season (like all his others) if an opposing defensive player even farts on him. Personally, I would've liked to see the team go after Darren Sproles without giving up any compensation for him.

Our Quarterback situation is depressing as hell. Henne has shown us all that he has, believe me, he simply hasn't got it. And the best we can hope for is that we may still get Orton, a mediocre QB who went 4-12 last year. Although he might be a slight upgrade, the most important position on the team and the potential future there doesn't leave one with much reason to be optimistic other then the fact that if it's Henne, he will no doubt play poorly again and get Sparano and possibly Ireland fired with any luck.

At least I hear we just signed another washed up Cowboy lineman who played poorly last year. That should get us over the hump!

Am I being to pessimistic? What do you think?

Agreed!! But most people on this forum will make every excuse know to man to defend him.

What do I think of the moves?

3 words - lame, cheap, underwhelming.

Laughable....... THis FO is JOKE!! A bunch of *** CLOWN's.

i think they did great except for addressing the qb position which is our biggest hole. I went to practice yesterday and was very disappointed in hennes inability to complete easy passes he should have.

To be totally honest I don't think we've done nearly enough. We're still have a glaring deficiency at the qb position (the most important in football), our receivers/tight end situation is not as rosy as personnel paints it, plus we become alot more one dimensional/predictable should Brandon Marshall go down. We have an unknown in the RB position with Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush has potential to make the offense much better providing he stays healthy which is a big question mark in regards to his past. Defense wise I think we're pretty solid although Sean Smith needs to take it to the next level. I think the acquisition of Burnett over Crowder will pay dividends and make the defense that much better. All in all I think our offense lags behind our defense considerably. I wish every star player in the league went through Dallas because our team would be stacked right now!

These guys are awesome! Unbelievable job so far! Ross better giver Ireland a extension quick before another team steals him! Superbowl here we come.

When Henne hit Ross with the ball a light should have gone off in Ross's head. He should have immediately told Ireland to do whatever it takes to fix the situation

Wait what did I miss?

Standing still while the rest of the league, and especially our division, leaps ahead. I'm almost always a glass-half-full, look on the bright side, give them the benefit of the doubt kinda guy, but it's getting seriously hard to be a fan of this team.

At least at the beginning of most seasons you can have some naive hope; now we have a worse qb situation, an unknown rb situation, the declaration that they plan on misusing the one good addition in Bush by trying to make him an every down back, an injured all pro LT, a #1wr with BPD, haven't addressed the glaring need at TE. Total lack of faith in coach, GM, and ownership. Sigh. Somebody cheer me up!

We could have added all pros all over the field, if we didnt add an effective QB it would still be ineffective

I'm very disppointed just like some of you guys but only time will tell.

HAHA THIS FO IS A JOKE THEY ARE JUST GOING TO GET MORE PLAYMAKING OFFENSE LINE FROM THE COWGIRLS -___- Stating the facts..
