Not just this week, but for the season. He's had decent stats, but it's the critical moments where he's seemed really weak.

Some people on here expect him to throw 8 TD's a game while throwing for 800 yds. I think as long as he keeps making progress like he is that people will start to get off his case.

There's only one thing he needs to do. Realize that his Oline is fairly poor, and he doesn't have the time he was normally accustomed to. Which means getting rid of the ball, even if it means throwing it out of bounds. Anything is better than a sack or a turnover.

when teams have to respect his running ability and throwing on the run ability, then he will be back

the odds of him succeeding as a pocket passer seem slim

How about moving the ball on a regular basis, and winning games?

He needs be more consistant in releasing the ball sooner than he currently is. That will help him and the OL...... Then and only then will the FINS be successful!!!

After what I saw in the Houston game, he's back. He's ready for New England. Unfortunately, I can't say the same of our o-line and secondary.

houston? the 30th best team in the league?

Win games where he plays decent/well. That is all.

He needs to show he can drive the offense for scores more consistantly (No more 3 and outs), he needs to at the very least make half the 3rd down plays, and he needs to score more TDs in the redzone.

A few more quarters like the 4th of the Texans game and that should do it. In the 4th quarter, we saw some escapability and movement outside the pocket. I hope its the harbinger of things to come.

to show that he is back we need to win a game with at least 3 pass td. for the game

I think making some big plays in the passing game early on will go along way to helping. He has only thrown TDS while coming from pretty far behind so far. Making a big play early will give him confidence and open up the running game, taking pressure off him.
