I know a lot of people were dissapointed on how the game went, too many penalties, no td's, etc. I though our 1st stringers played well. That's what really matters. I know it's important to see how our 2nd and 3rd stringers play because of depth, i know you don't have to remind me. Barring any injuries it's these guys who are gonna start this year.

It looked like Beck had some time to throw the ball, a lot more time than he did last year. The O-line gave ricky and ronnie some nice holes to run through. So 1st team O-line did a pretty good job.

Fasano and Mauia looked good

WR's did scare me as they did all Dolfan's i think.

Our 1st team D played well, espically the D-line. The Ferguson sack was nice and they were not giving McCown enough time to throw. I know a few of the Bucs starters were out but thier 1st team O couldn't put together any scoring drives on us.

I think most of our starters played well in a preseason game. What does everybody think of our starters only?

I liked alot of what i saw, boomer Grigsby is going to give Reagan mauia a battle, the new FB plays with a ton of intensity, i loved that catch and run he made , it reminded me of the old days with Tom Rathman and Moose Johnson. i'm impressed with how these rookies played against some good Buccaneer talent. i don't think this team is as far away as the general media thinks.

i liked how our defense looked. but we werent even facing their starting QB or RB in Garcia and Graham. i dont even think we saw Warrick Dunn which is their 2nd stringer. i think its gonna be another looong year.

Keep in mind Graham started most of last year when Cadillac got hurt, and will probably start some of this year as well.

Graham is Tampas #1 guy with Dunn comming off the bench to spell him frequently. similar to what we will do with Brown and Ricky. the Fins defense saw neither Graham or Dunn all night. niether did we see their 1st string QB. i said i liked how our starting defense looked, pressuring the QB and knocking down passes, but who knows if this was because theyve gotten better or because its just 1 preseason game where our 1st string played their 2nd string QB and 3rd string RB. im hoping its not the latter.

They could have had Tom Brady and Tomlinson back there , our defense was getting a a great push into that backfield, we did'nt have one of our top defensive players either, holliday did'nt play. Langford and Merling were great findings, thye are so strong and quick, I'm use to seeing wirery DE's like Taylor and Ogunleye, I like the new look and the intensity that the defense is playing with, maybe they are just plain GOOD!
