That pas was a thing of beauty..prefect in every aspect from protection to Henne looking off the safeties (YES HE TOTALLY LOOKED THEM OFF).

But he also had some good throws in other cases that pushed the ball downfield....he had one to haynos that was a 15 yard STRIKE....the one where he stepped up and shot a missile to Fasano for about 12 fasano got the other 2 or 3 on that play.

the throw to fasano for the TD was a off the back foot 20 yard pass (not in yardage but in ball flight distance) and the one to cam was just a rocket on 3rd and 10

i see us being able to get him protection and us actually running 15-20 or more yard routes and moving the ball in chunks on through the air. But i think what he learned from Penny is that taking 5 or 6 is far better than forcing the ball into mistakes.

So while i dont think by any means we start slinging down the field in our passing game i think that because of what he has shown that we can run longer developing and longer routes routes to move the ball in chunks....and with our running game play action will be a ***** to stop.

One more observation SANCHEZ SUCKS AT PLAY ACTION...he kinda just flips his hand out there like he is in a rush.....HENNE IS NASTY puts it in the gut of the back pulls it back he fakes out everyone.

YOUR THOUGHTS?

I don't think there's any question that he opens up the playbook a little. There are just things Miami can do as an offense now that they couldn't with Penny at QB. If Henne can continue to be accurate with even just medium to long range throws then this offense will be nearly unstoppable. R&R are running the ball about as good as I have ever seen a RB duo and if you get the defense on their heels forget about it.

I dont even think weve seen the whole picture of what henning will do with Chad Henne. I think they were very conservative with Henne except for the long bomb to Ginn. In future weeks, and expecially next year, Henne will grow, and they will start to lean on him more. But damn, he was very impressive. The pose and calmness he showed, hes gonna be a damn good qb and even if we dont make the playoffs, im excited about the future of the miami dolphins.

I think this gives Henning the ability to open up the playbook at will now. We saw it. We know it can happen. While I don't think we're going to be going deep often, I DO think we will try it at least once or twice a game. Henne HAS the arm. Ginn HAS the speed. I just needed some proof and I got it last night. Keep in mind Henne has more than the arm and Ginn has more than the speed. This is the connection we want now and in the future for the long ball.

Henne played a hell of a game, especially on that last drive. He had two big completions, the Wildcat/Wildpat ran all over Rex Ryan's defense when it counted and we won!

I know we won't put up 31 a game, but this offense finally showed what it can do if you put everything together!

Ted Ginn finally has a QB who can throw the deep ball and hit him in stride....the entire NFL better look out...the Dolphins are for real!!! We all know what Ricky and Ronnie can do with the running game...now we are starting to see what Chad Henne can do with the passing game. Life is great being a Dolphins fan!!!:D

I have always been in support of Ginn, but to say that he has let me down this year is an understatement. Last night was great in taking a step to redeem himself, and I do think that we will see more of that this year from him. However he has to continue to make those big plays since that is why he gets payed, and that is why he was drafted. To be a game changer. If he cannot show consistency in the next 11 games, then I am not sure that there will be a long term for the two of them. I hope he continues to make these plays because I like the guy, and I want to see him with the Dolphins for years to come.

That's what I'm most impressed with. He looked down the field many times and then checked it down for positive gains on early downs. If he keeps improving and we continue to use the play-action with our running game we could be a really good offense :couch3:

Lol remeber when Jaws was talking about Parcells' QB checklist..lol theres goes just about every QB in the Draft ever..BUT HENNE LOOKS LIKE the FUTURE NO DOUBT....
