a) He pays the biggest overhead for the largest coaching staff in the NFL.
b) He pays $ 10 million for the practice bubble
c) He pays $ 5 million a year for one of the top paid coaches
d) he pays $ 2 million a year each for the Mularky & Capers as coordinators

And what does he get for it ? Possibly the worst team in the NFL.

What does he do ? What can he say ? He's been the best owner in the NFL....stays out of the team business and lets "football people" take care of the team. This is how they repay him. Very sad.

agreed 100%..Mr. H is and should be pissed..this team is an embarrassment to the City, the State, the Organization and the fans

the Miami Dolphins is the laughing stock of the NFL with the Raiders

im sure he doesnt care, he's making money. if he cared as much as you are implying, then he would have stepped in and said at least something by now

He's not making money if he isnt selling tickets and teams that dont win dont sell tickets..I dont think its considered treasury stock if you by back your own tickets to sell out and avoid a blackout

Guys I'm not talking about what kind of an owner he is, I am saying what do you think he is thinking ? Is he questioning his bringing in Nick Saban ?

I'd feel bad for Mr. H. if he didn't have mounds of benjamins to blow his nose on. :p But he is a great owner.

Yes I do think he's questioning his own decision to bring in a college coach. Not saying that i'm giving up on Saban or anything, but losing like this has to bring some doubt to an owner who is paying him 5 mill a year.

That's the problem he is a good owner right now, but if spending all this money doesn't start producing a winner, he may think about going down the Cincinnati Bengals route for a while. Remember until they got Carson Palmer and some hope of winning, the owner Mike Brown would only spend the league minimum on the team each year and never pay for FA's.

Huizenga is thinking how the hell he's going to get out of this mess, he laid out big cash on the Marlins then sold them after their World Series win, Now he lays out big cash on the Phins and they just plain suck and he can't sell them because his investment is not panning out! :sidelol:

Yes he is a GREAT owner...the best in the NFL from what I know about him. If his football people say they need something, he doesn't hesitate and pulls out the check-book and writes a check for it.

This is how Nick Saban pays him back for being a good owner.

Wayne didn't hire Saban on his own. Remember ex-president of the Dolphins Eddie ???. Dude was a LSU alumni. He push for Wayne to hire Saban.

Eddie Jones.....yes he did push for Nick.

Does the silence from Huizenga say good or bad for the future of Nick Saban ?
