What does San Fran's negotiations with Rodgers,Smith,Edwards mean for Miami

Could San Francisco's negotiations with Rodgers,Smith and Edwards mean that Miami is not gonna go for a RB with the # 2 pick. If one of the RB's were considered to be a top 3 pick wouldnt he be considered in with the negotiations just to cover all bases in case of a trade. Is this a sign that these RB's are just not worth the # 2 pick? Opinions

They are trying to make teams think that's the three they want, by doing this if any teams want them, it makes there pick more valuable, and ours also!!!

Just because SF has those 3 guys at the top of their list does NOT mean the Dolphins have the same 3... That being said, I still like Edwards. I think he will give us a passing game that will be near impossible to defend.

If the niners arent even considering one of the 3 RB's then is that a sign that none of them are worth that high a pick compared to the other players being mentioned.

San Fran doesn't need nor want a RB early in this draft. They just resigned Barlow last year, and his cap number is fairly high, and their back-ups did OK when they bench Barlow because he sucks. They can't put money into RB when they have bigger needs at QB and WR.

By them negotiating early, it really helps us. If they agree with Rodgers, and it's a done deal that he will be the pick. Miami could then start negotiations with their top picks. Probably Smith, Edwards, Brown, Williams, Rolle. That could sure scare some teams like Minny or Clev into trading up to our spot in fear we may take their QB or WR.
