what does sparano do good?

Kissing @ss. That's the only reason why he got elevated to head coach in this league. Because he kissed Bill's fat, doughy, wrinkly, white keester more than anybody else. They say he's an OL guru, but there is absolutely no evidence on the Dolphins OL that supports that proclamation.

I am someone who leans towards the "homer" side of the fence, but this is a good question. He was a good motivator but somewhere along the way I feel he lost some of the players. And other than that he really never did anything 'above average'. He also has a talent evaluation deficiency with both staff and players. I've lost about 99% of my confidence in his ability over the years.

no one else has anything to say, good or bad?

He did coach us to a division title in year 1. He did make Belichick look stupid when he unleashed the Wildcat. That is it. Problem is, he has clearly regressed as has this team. Time To Go Fat Tony!

He did coach us to a division title in year 1.

Chad Pennington coached us to a div. title in year 1. Sparano was just along for the ride.

Besides having one of the best fist pumps in the league he also manages to keep the revolving door well oiled and shiny as they've gotta have the biggest turnover of players in the league

Talk Fluff!!

Even firing the ST Coach, Sapp, that ST Player who missed a tackle ... that's Fluff = weak in my book, doing that knee-jerk symbolically to blame them!!

Dang Fluffy Sparano, you picked them & coached them ... smack yourself in the Nads instead of others!! A man finds a a good solid solution & replaces those guys ... not throw them under the bus the next morning ... that's WEAK Fluff, to boot!!

Every week MORE Fluff. First week's Fluff = We've got it all fixed!! Second week's fluff ... We've done everything to be prepared & I don't understand!!

He calls timeouts when you obviously shouldn't. He is excellent at doing that. Oh...and....he's good at not having a clue. I forgot that one.

ok were getting to the point here.this guy is clueless.i wan him gone in the worst way even if we go 0-16

He isn't even good at making excuses anymore.

Here is a quote from a recent article

The Dolphins have now lost 11 of their past 12 games at home. Sparano on Sunday called the home struggles "baffling" and said he didn't have an answer for them.

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-dolphins/fl-miami-dolphins-0920-20110919,0,3910183.story

Baffling? Really. It's his job to have an answer. He is getting paid millions to do so. Now he can't even come up with one of his stupid excuses.

I felt sorry for Sparano sitting in Ross's office like a puppet in that post Harbaugh video. Clearer he was there because he was told to pose for the camera. Really strange management. Ross, "I messed up now you have to sit here and look cool with it for the team". Odd stuff. And it is odd stuff that will have lingering effects in a business of any kind. A man's success will often be traced to his relationship with his boss. They say it is dangerous for a player to play scared. Bet there is some truth to managing scared too.

But I don't support him at this point. Oh well.

Lets go back a cap a decade plus of mediocrity from Tony Sparano

1999 Cleveland Browns Offensive Quality Control-Browns go 2-14 and Offense is ranked 31st in yards and points-FAIL
2000 Cleveland Browns Offensive Line Coach-Browns go 3-13 and and Offense is ranked 31st in yards and points-FAIL
2001 Washington Redskins Tight End Coach-Redskins go 8-8 and the TE's combine for 19 catches for 213 yards-FAIL
2002 Jacksonville Tight end Coach-Jags go 6-10 and TE's combine for 68 catchs for 705 yards and 6TD's-FAIL
2003 Dallas Tight End Coach-Cowboys go 10-6 and TE's combine 55 catches for 542 yards and 2 TD's-OK
2004 Dallas Tight End Coach-Cowboys go 6-10 and Jason witten has ProBowl year with 87 catches for 980 yards-OK
2005 Dallas Offensive Line Coach-Cowboys go 9-7 and Offense is ranked in the middle of the league-FAIL
2006 Dallas Offensive Line Coach-Cowboys go 9-7 and Offense is ranked in the top 10-PASS
2007 Dallas Assistant Head coach- Cowboys go 13-3 and offense and defense ranked in top 10-PASS
2008 Miami Head Coach-Fins go 11-5 and win the division - PASS
2009 Miami Head Coach-Fins go 7-9 and lose last 3 games of season-FAIL
2010 Miami head Coach-Fins go 7-9 and lose last 3 games of season-FAIL

So by my count that is 7 failed seasons, 3 passing seasons and 2 OK or average seasons.
That is NOT very good.

Add to that, everytime his team has made the playoffs it has been out in the 1st round 0-3 lifetime.

He is now 25-25 as a coach and the team rankings under him are in the less than average percentile.

winning 49%

offense
yards 38%
points 45%

defense
yards 44%
points 45%

takeaways 34%

Tony is a C- on a report card and we gave him an extension?

he's good at keeping track of how many reps every player has so far....how this has helped the team I have no ****ing idea.

Ozzy rules!!

And he is good at having a losing record.

Currently his teams are 91-103 with the 12 years in the NFL.
and 0-3 in the playoffs.

Buh Bye Tony.

Moran-o must be good at sucking dick cause thats the only way ross is letting him keep his job. Man i hate this fat sunglasses at night wearing pastie white ***!
