What effect will the rain have?

the rain or sunshine favors us. did you guys and gals see how the jets did last week in the rain. their punter was the leading rusher for the day.

i'm sure the streak ends here. the jets will leave with their heads hanging down, tongues hanging out, and tails between their legs, back to their home state of new jersey.

plus, with our running game, i don't fear the rain as much as i did when we were mainly a passing team. we have three excellent runners.

as usual, the rain will make turnovers a higher probability, but that works the same for both teams.

but after all, we are marine mammals, we should thrive in the rain.
 
If it rains during the game, I think it'll send the Nyets into a relapse from last week. It'll be getting into their heads! :D

I think it would be nice to have it rain Saturday, and perhaps Sunday morning; then mostly sunny before game time to bring up the heat and humidity.

Those Nyets better bring plenty of towels for the sauna! :D
 
You want a streak? How's 17 games in a row. Thats our current win-streak at home in August/September.

So this Sunday's battle is a battle of whose streak is stronger.
 
the streak the jets ended last year was dolphins not shut out at home since 1970 - about 240 home games -- WOW!
 
With that stupid dirtinfield still there (this is the last home game it will be there!) combined w/the possible rains it may become like the mud bowl game (1982 AFC Championship game NYJ@MIA). Let's hope if it happens, that the results are the same!

It don't matter to me

Even if it does rain. who cares? I'll be in a luxury box, all dry and confortable. :lol:

I think it's better is it doesn't rain, because Ricky Williams will be more likely to fumble. And we won't be able to throw the ball as much. The rain brings to many turnovers, and I wonder to who's favor that will fall into.

I want a hot, muggy, humid day and a blow out. :fire:
