I know he went on IR last year, did he get cut like Chester? I haven't heard his name one this off-season. He was a nice backup/#4. Made some big third down catches.

i think i saw him at Mcdonalds when i went to through Drive-Thru.

What about Chester? Will he be good to go this season? Did TimBO retire? I know they're no longer Dolphins but I wouldn't mind having both of them back.

Would you like to supersize that for only a dollar more?

Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports former Miami Dolphins DT Larry Chester is trying to make a comeback. A potential destination for Chester is the Baltimore Ravens. Former Dolphins defensive line coach Clarence Brooks is now on the Ravens' staff.

Dolphins | T. Bowens may try again in 2006

Alex Marvez, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports former Miami Dolphins DT Tim Bowens (back) may not retire after all, but he may instead opt to attempt to play in 2006, if he feels better after some time away. Agent Drew Rosenhaus said Bowens isn't going to immediately file such paperwork with the NFL. "If he came back, it would be with the Dolphins. That goes without saying," Rosenhaus said.

I do miss Timbo but even in limited playing time I wonder how effective he could be...

He was going to sign the contract but then the Titan's GM tossed him the pen and Derrius dropped it.

Or maybe he jumped when he didn't need to.

Oh well, I will always have love for Derrius Thompson because of the one catch he DID make.....on 4th down against the Patriots in December 2004 to win the best game of the year for the Dolphins.

i heard thompson fell in a ditch and he still resides there to this very day because he is so ashamed of his lack of talent

OHHHHHHH......you mean "Dare Us To Throw Some" not Darious Thompson.......who cares!
