What FA signings would appease you now????

Im a big advocate of the R.Marshall signing. I would love him to play FS, with the ability to cover the slot and allowing Jones to play SS.

2 signings I would be excited about, would be Anthony Collins OT & Manny Lawson OLB.

Anthony Collins is an excellent underrated pass protector who IMO would shore up the RT spot.

Manny Lawson, although not reached the heights expected as a passrusher, is still IMO an excellent OLB and has experience with Coyle. He can cover, play the run and is extremely athletic and IMO an excellent complement to both Burnett & Dansby.

Who would appease you now after the furore of the Manning/Flynn/Smith and eventually Garrard fiasco?????

Maybe Ireland having a draft day agreement to trade down in first and then picking up Mike Wallace.......we can all dream!
 
I thought it was smart for Ireland to bring in the DE Anderson from the PAtriots. He is a good pass rusher that can help us win.
 
None, just let it be and start working on extensions and restructuring contracts, we'll try to land something next year. Try to get some good players in the draft.

I think we'll be drafting a WR round one so that's exciting, to get an explosive playmaker in our offense.

What do you think of trading up for Blackmon and getting Weeden? We could also trade down and draft Michael Floyd, then get Weeden.
 
I think if you like Michael Floyd you draft him at 8, but we also have to worry about the Jaguars. Teams like the Bills and the Seahawks would probably want him too.
 
You have to get mike before the 20th and if they can't match the offer they get our 8th pick...so its not happening,but I would like to trade down pick up an extra 2nd and fill 5 needs with the 1st,two 2nds and 2 3rds..you can get a young qb,a pass rusher,receiver,te and a o-lineman.if we can hit on all of those or half.you don't have as many holes on the roster like everyone thinks..

Yah I would like to get another 2nd round pick, but I don't want to lose Floyd. It's better to draft him with the 8th pick.
 
I've been under the impression we've been building through the draft since '99.!.?.
