Now that the bigger names (Revis and Talib) are off the board, I'm curious to know who some of you prefer us to sign. Personally, I wouldn't mind DRC due to his athleticism but since Grimes is a smaller corner, I feel like we'd target a bigger CB. Thoughts?

We aren't getting a free agent corner...at least not a starter. We might add camp fodder, but that is about it. We drafted two guys in the upper rounds last year...time for them to step up.

I wouldn't mind a seasoned vet with a near-minimum contract. Many of those guys could provide leadership

Walter Thurman. He's young but filled in well when Browner missed time. I think he could be had for not much money and be very effective in our scheme.

My one concern with Thurmond is that isn't he one slip-up away from a year-long suspension?

DRC intrigues me, but you never know what you'll get with that guy.

Tarell Brown from SF might be the safest bet. There could still be a few more guys to hit the chopping block. I wouldn't be in a hurry.

We have a number one and two young guys. IMO a vet stop gap is the best choice. I still like Patterson if he takes a discount. The unit was really good last year when he played. Hopefully the young guys replace Carroll.

Patterson would be ok but we have the cap to get better, go get me DRC

I'd sign Browner from Seattle despite his upcoming suspension. Big corner who should complement Grimes well, he has the knack for snagging picks. I doubt our FO will look at him though because of the suspension.

I want patterson back for cheap. I also want Davis to step up. He was tearing up training camp last year. Well maybe not tearing up, but he was making plays.

definately get browner despite the suspension. fins need some bruisers in the secondary

I'd rather not go into the season relying on these corners that barely saw playing time...i want some sort of contingency plan... sign a vet to compete.

I actaully prefer a RT or a guard or both Not worry about a damn corner right now.

Ozzy rules!!

No I think you are thinking of Browner but I could be wrong. I don't want DRC, he has been flirting with retiring he said. I'd take Brown and/or Thurmond though

Thurmond was also suspended for violating the substance abuse policy, so I think he is also a strike away from missing a season. The difference I believe is that Thurmond has already served his suspension.
