What happened to Dan Henning? What the hell happened to our playcalling?

I am in disbelief of our playcalling these past 2 games. What the hell?
 
He's Jeckell and Hyde. Sometimes has fantastic play calls, and other times leaves you scratching your head. He needs to go along with Pascqualoni.
 
dude look at our offensive personnel. even ronnie hasnt looked good lately imo. the only person on offense right now worth a damn is ricky. the rest of them are lucky to be backups on any other team. what do you expect them to do with that level of talent?

probably because we weren't getting anything in the run game. They were stopping us in every way on the ground.

Towards the end, we were kind of forced to try and rely on Henne for a spark. Henning did everything today NOT to lose the game. He did fine, given the circumstances. The early parts was a field possession game, and we let the special teams and defense win us today's game.
 
I still don't get henning because we are a much better running team than we are a passing team. I don't like it but we still beat the jets.
 
Tough to call an offensive game when you have a quarterback that can't complete anything other than screen passes.
 
seriously henne threw some really bad passes missed fasano over the middle then bess breaks wide open and he didnt see him over peoples head but he didnt throw an int and he is a rook he gets a pass. the running game was horrrible and our o-line sucks

Tough to open up some holes when the defense knows your qb can't complete anything other than screen passes.
 
I agree. Today was some of the worst playcalling I've seen in the past few years. Maybe if Henning would pay more attention ti basic formations that the Wildcat we'd get somewhere.
 
The main thing that irks me is when we use the Wildcat. I prefer only using the Wildcat on downs 5 yards or less. It wasn't working at all today and it came predictable what we were going to do. It seemed Wildcat on 1s and 2nd then play action or a pass regardless on third.
 
he always seems to be conservative on the road, same last year, they try to stay in a game and close it out
 
1st and 2nd down runs up the mid runs when it wasn't working (like most times), then running the wildcat on 3rd and long...WHY? The wildcat works best in short yard situations. Henne holding onto the damn ball too long has got to be corrected soon. No excuse for not hitting a dump off man or throwing it out of bounds. He needs to learn how to read the defenses better...he's no longer a rookie. Sanchez should not be reading them better than Henne!!!!! Who's our QB coach? Do we have one? LOL
 
I believe that every week before games, Henning and Pasqualoni secretly take trips to Amsterdam.
