I just got home from work, I was curious as to if he was benched or if he got injured. I'm assuming injury so how did it happen.

It would be nice if he was injured or benched, but it sounds like Saban still will be starting him next week.

If Saban starts him, I'm through with the Dolphins and concentrating solely on the Steelers until he has the testicular fortitude to suck it up and put Sage in the game.

i was hoping johnson would pull a zach thomas this week (inadvertently injure the qb) but i was wrong.

i hope saban values winning cause if he does he will realize that playing gus gives us NO CHANCE TO WIN and at least we have a great than zero percent chance of winning with sage in.

So what was the reason Sage was in the game. I realize Gus is no good but why did Saban put Sage in the Game.

Gus remembered he was Gus after the game against Denver.

are some of you people terminal? are you in some race to win the title THIS year?...

Gus Frerotte = caretaker...

Breaking news: There will be football in 2006... and 2007...

There's a difference between watching a team give its best and torture. What I heard tonight was torture, and any game started by Gus the Bust will be just that. I'd rather see a team lose with good player moves, but that wasn't what happened tonight.

I'm not convinced that Saban, and moreso Scott Linehan are not convinced that Frerotte is the future QB. They seem to think he somehow can turn it all around......because there is no other reason not to start Sage from now on out.

People expected Frerotte to come in here and WIN the Dolphins some games this year. I expected this type of play from him and (although I wasn't able to watch the game tonight, instead I listened to it on the radio) to be honest, I'd much rather this (with the overthrows) as opposed to Feeley with the INT's going back to the house.

I think it's quite ridiculous the amount of people on this board that want to see Sage. Again, just my opinion, but these are the types of performances I expected from Frerotte.

You're forgetting something...

Some of us fans are SICK and TIRED of the caretaker QB. We want a damn gamebreaker. However, so far, Gus the Bust hasn't managed to even be a caretaker! Let's see...

Against Buffalo, 3 interceptions
Against TB, a fumble-6 (oh, how you would crucify Feeley if he had done it)
Tonight, a pick, a fumble, and costly mistakes in the red zone (in other words, he pulled a Fiedler, big time)

Maybe you should be watching less press conferences PressConference and watching more games, fanboy.

EDIT: OK, you're PressCoverage, but the comment stands.
