I'm watching a 1984 playoff game against the Steelers and the fans as the orange bowl were as loud as the Raiders fans what happened? Beside us not being as competitive.

Marino was the man he had way more talent than Peyton or Favre IMO he was amazing that quick release was crazy no matter how close a defender was the WR that ball would get there about 100 miles an hour.:dolphins:

We moved from the Orange Bowl to Dolphins stadium that's what happened.

South Florida fans are spoiled. Most of them are less than an hour away from a beautiful stadium and watching their favorite team. Yet they either don't go or aren't rabid enough. There are exceptions to this. There are still a lot of vocal and proud fans that go to the games, but not enough. I drive 3 1/2 hours to Buffalo every year to see the Bills game while being surrounded by smelly, drunk Buffalo fans where the men have bigger breasts than the women and the women have more hair on their chest than the men. Don't give me the "It's too far away!" excuse. Same with the Marlins. They won two world championships in ten years and the lazy *******s in South Florida can't get off their ***** and support a team that deserves respect. Some of you South Florida fans are pathetic and you disgust me. Go play golf and sell your tickets to someone who really wants to see the games.

Go Phins!!!!

That's definitely part of it too. The stands were so much closer to the field in the Orange Bowl and it was SO much louder. I miss the OB. A lot of great things happened in that stadium.

At the Orange bowl, the fans were so much closer to the field than in Joe Robbie...(sorry, will always call it JR)...but we haven't had as many games that counted like the one you're talking about since then...Most of our PO games have been away games since...

That game was wild, but not nearly as wild as some...shoulda been there for the 1980 MNF game against the Eagles...we were flagged several times for delay of game (the Fins got the penalties, the fans caused the penalties...) Old Jaws kept going up to the LOS and then backing away because he couldn't hear himself think....Or the 1977 Jests PO game (the AJ Duhe game)...In the rain and mud...great games....

But we'll have more of them with Saban, just wait and see...

That's it. I've been to the OB before, and I go to dolphin stadium, regularly. The Bowl is all close-confines.

I am sick of this crap. Every Fin game I go to the place is rocking. Because of the distance from the field it doesn't interpret on television broadcast. But when you are in the stands, the place is loud and everyone is totally into it.
I think it's BS that everyone is slamming our fan base. We sell out every home game anymore and the place is jumping. We had Dolphin Denny, the Fin Heads, and now Big Poppa Pump.
I love the love game experience.

bro i drive 3 and a half hours each week to see the fins, get over it and move to florida

I hope I can make some games finally this year, it's an 8 or 9 hour drive I think, but if our training schedule permits I plan on making a couple of trips down. If I lived there I don't think I'd ever miss a game if I could help it but who knows.

I know that it got awful damn loud in the 2nd half of the Bills game last year!
:D

I agree to an extent. Opening day against Denver and the comeback against the Bills the stadium was blasting and the fans were rabid. I for one, and 60% of the fans around me at the Bills game were foaming at the mouth every time the Bills faced a third down. Alot of it depends on where you sit in the stadium. My experiance is that the endzones are crazy, as are the upper sidelines. The lower sidelines can get pretty loud as well. The upper corners are more relaxed. The lower corners I have only sat in once or twice, though they seem to be pretty lame

And that was after probably 40% of the fans left. They started clearing out after the safety. That was a great game!!
