What Happened?????

Your odds are probably better at playing the lotto and winning than Mare making field goals on a consistant basis these days. Kinda reminds me of M. Grammatica sp? He used to be dependable and now expendable.
 
Everytime he comes on to the field I get nervous and that is the first time the whole time he was here I feel like that. I actually have a hard time watching him kick field goals because I am so nervous.
 
Worst part is Saban said Mare's our guy in his PC. Says he has full confidence in him because he does great in practice :mad:
 
I dont remember his leg ever being stronger....Its just his accuracy is lacking....Saban says Mare does well in practice, but it seems like the pressure of the game situation rattles him.....Time to get his arse over to the sports psychologist, because he's gona be in the position to either win or loose the game for us soon......

No reason to be apprehensive about Mare's kicks. If it is from more than 35 yards, he may make it if it has absolutely no impact on the outcome of the game. It if is closer than that, it will probably be blocked if we really need it. Other than that, he is MR CLUTCH.
 
mare doesnt even look confident when he lines up which worries me even more, hes done i mean missing a field goal in 5 consecutive games is not cutting it thats inexplicable for any kicker in the nfl
 
I know why Mare is struggling ! when dave was here it was run, run, run and punt or kick field goals and since our offense sucked oranges Mare wore out his leg. :fire:
 
I've lost my trust with him too every kick he kicks that is 50 yards or more he misses.
 
I've been very disappointed in Mare this year. He's not earning his keep anymore, and it's time he either started making kicks, or we find someone else who does....

Even after Mares last two years were he wasnt kicking quite like his old self i was still willing to give him the benfit of the doubt this year. It is officially the end of the Mare era, he was an amazing kicker for us for a long time but its time to start fresh and get a young kicker.
