I hoping we don't have to deal with another Eli Manning situation. I mean, Andrew Luck has a right, not to play for Miami. What do we do then? That would be a disaster. I heard John Elway did it, when the Colts had the #1 pick in 1983. Let's quit making the retarded T shirts and stupid Suck for Luck comments. Let's welcome this guy with open arms and have a parade for the guy. Let's not piss the guy off, anymore than he is now.

If he didn't want to be here, I wouldn't want him either, no matter how good he was. Miami would still own the rights to him if they drafted him though, so a huge trade would have to be made where Miami would still benefit greatly and probably be able to pick up the next best qb in the process.

What happens if he does not want to sit in Indy?

And both did it for different reasons and were wrong because of it. I don't think Luck will do that. Eli did it because of a conflict he and his dad had meeting Marty and he said he didn't feel comfortable playing for him. Elway was way more out of line, but people also feared that he WOULD sit out (nobody thought Eli would) as he was drafted to play baseball.

Luck doesn't have that personality.

What happens if Andrew Luck falls down the stairs, knocks himself unconscious and has his left eye eaten by a ground dwelling bird?

What happens if Andrew Luck decides he doesn't want to play football anymore and that his true calling is as an exotic Elvis Presley impersonator?

What happens if an asteroid hits the Earth and wipes out all humanity?

Blah blah blah.

uggh....didnt we have like 4 threads about this already?

can we just assume assumptions are asinine......(thats classic alliteration:hump:)

Gooooo ooon....

Guys - I hate to say it, but unless there is a serious philosophical chance in the front office - I don't think there is a chance we get Luck. I truly don't believe we will end up with the #1 overall pick...

I would love to have him, but I think we end-up winning 5 or 6 this season...
