What happens if Madison goes down

Every team has the same questions. What happens if Champ Bailey goes down or Sam Madison or Fred Smoot. The loss of a good corner hurts every team. It is a rare team that goes beyond 3 deep at CB.
 
problem is....with poole and surtain gone....we're really looking at a #1 CB and #3-5 starting/depth......that's not so good to begin with.

You don't know that. Travis Daniels could turn out to be pretty darn good.
The Eagles dumped Vincent and Taylor and had success with 2 unproven guys.
The Pats had injury problems and had to go with Gay and Samuel.
 
don't take this as being negative but....

considering Poole was pretty much the lead candidate for the #2 spot...and Surtain IS gone...what I wrote is true, we're starting our #1 and #3-5 CB/DBs. So losing our #1....u get the point.

Edwards and Howard haven't exactly over impressed anyone as of yet....and Daniels is an unproven, unknown....and Saban's 2nd pick for that draft spot in the "4th" round (as he was looking for his other LSU CB that went 2 spots above if I remember right).

Now...whether or not Daniels turns out good or not.....I hope he turns out to be great!

Agreed. My whole point is that those concerns are the same concerns most teams have. Howard started in the SB for Panthers and Edwards has had experience playing in this league. They are not great, but they are serviceable (as most backups are)
 
Geez what happens if Ricky and Ronnie both go down? What happens if Jason Taylor goes down? Or Zack?

Let's hope it doesn't happen but if it does we'll cross that bridge when it comes. Obviously people will have to step up. But there's no sense talking about an injury that hasn't happened yet. :confused:

he goes down, were screwed, lets just hope he doesnt and it woufd be nice to get ty law for comfort but right now lets not think about injuries
