lets just say pat white outplays henne game 4 of the pre-season what happens? does it be taken seriously? do we put pat white as the no.2 qb? or will it just be ignored because it was only 1 game?

nothing happens at all

never know what the trifecta will do to send a message. they know the kids need more time. expect pat white to take his opportunity real serious. like to see some looks out of the shotgun.

Yea, because under center he is slow to get back. While i will say he has looked good against 2nd and 3rd teamers. I would like to see him throw against a 1st team D eventually.

I don't think it will happen because even though Henne is far from flawless under center, White really isn't ready to take the reigns of an NFL offense.

If he plays a lot in game 4, I suspect we will see a couple nice plays from him which will give us a glimpse of what the FO saw when they drafted him. But he is not there as a QB yet so any thoughts of him leapfrogging Henne should go out the window.

Um nothing will happen... He will still be the teams 3rd QB... It won't be until next year that he will truly have a chance to unseat Henne...

If Pat White outplays Henne then were gonna cut Pennington and trade Henne to the Buc's for Josh Freeman. Then we'll move Pat White to running back and make Ronnie Brown a fullback. With Freeman and White in the backflield teams will never know who we're going to snap the football to and both players will have a run/pass option. Ultimately this will never work but with our first round draft pick next year we'll get Teblow and try it all over again but this time with 3 QB/RB's in the backfield. Again this doesnt work out and the Dolphins franchise will digress for years to come. So hopefully Pat white will not out perform Henne in game 4 of the preseason or we will all as Dolphins fans suffer the consequences.

I think it will be pretty much ignored. IMO the only way White gets the #2 spot is to bring in more for the wildcat. It has already been discussed on this board that the rules state the 3'rd string QB can play, but if he plays after the 3'rd quarter you can't bring the 1'st stringer back in. That pretty much nullifies using Pat in the wildcat unless he is the 2'nd string QB.

Nothing happens this season, but the FH debate on who starts next year will unmercifully run rampant from the onset of next off-season til about a year from now.

Nothing, the level of competition will likely be low for both teams. White will not pass Henne we would of already seen signs of that if it was possible.

As everyone has already said, nothing will happen. But we'll have a good performance as a basis of hope that White could be a good QB in the future.

Nothing will happen for obvious reasons. If the staff thought White was much better than Henne he would already be playing more. I dont get all the love for White who besides short pass left or right has not shown to be all that so far.
