What happens if we come back home against the cowboys and

The o-line has a great showing at home this next upcoming game? than what will be the problem here? will it be incosistency? will be it be a lazy effort against tampa? or will it be that tampa was just an underrated young upcoming tough defense.
 
With the exception of Long, I definitely think that first string o-line needs to play several series against Dallas. They need to click badly. If they do well, then honestly I don't know what to think. Tampa has a great d-line, but we have other great ones to play this year too. We need to be able to hold our own against the best, and I'm not sure if they can. :(
 
It doesn't matter if they open holes for bush and thomas to rush for 300 yards and Henne throws for 325 and no sacks or interceptions because of non-stop beautiful pockets, the bottom line here is if Jake Long isn't healthy and Murtha and Columbo are starting for this team on the o-line, we are in serious deep ****...
 
Yeah! It would be nice to have Gurode in there with "bad things" on his mind.

none of the above. It would be a downright miracle.
 
maybe a bit of both? tampa is known for fielding a good defense and it wouldnt' surprise me if they do so again this year. you'd hate to think it was laziness, esp with nfl career's on the line, but with the shortened offseason, I wouldn't be surprised if some of these guys are just mailing it in while waiting for the real season to start.
 
i also question the shape of some of these o-lineman, i have to guess some of them are really gettin winded out there only having a few weeks of practice before preseason. These olineman need as much reps as possible til the real season to get in good game shape.
 
It there were problems with scheme and players not executing...then that could happen. That isn't the problem though. These guys are getting beat physically in their 1-on-1 battles. So, it isn't going to happen...these guys suck!

are we a zone blocking team? if so that isn't about strength is it? more about timing?
