I dont mean to be negative and we still have alot of games left but I keep thinking about this. We've played alot of teams this season that are just horrible.....poor poor records. The schedule next season has got to be harder for us. Having said that, do you think prehaps we might take a step back next season?

if we finish in last place in the tough AFC East, we play a last place schedule. This is a tough division so we could finish like 8-8 and be in last place. At least we have that going for us.

I wouldn't say our wins are a result of who we have played anyway, even though we did get a win over a very "down" Chargers team and over the Patriots who you've got to figure would be a lot better than this year if they again get healthy.

We'll be improved, that's all that matters. I can't imagine we trot out to the field next September with Andre Goodman and Reynaldo Hill/Jason Allen starting.

Sure we have beat a few horrible teams, but weren't we just horrible last year? We took a major step in just one season and the fact that we can look at the schedule and see horrible teams is incredible. We are overachieving this season. We will likely end the season with 9-10 wins, and that will look very "sexy" for free agents come the offseason. Who wouldn't want to join a team on the rise with Parcells overseeing things.

I think we will take another step forward after another solid free agency and draft.

well we get another batch of tough ballers who will fill up some holes as we continue our ascent...

i thought about making a thread with this topic myself. we could take a step back even with and influx of talent. new players will need time to gel with our roster holdovers, rookies will have to adjust to the nfl game and we certainly wont sneak up on anyone at all next year. year 3 is where i expect to make a really strong push, but i hope im wrong and its sooner than that.

i trust parcells to keep building a physical team. I do not expect miracles, but i think that we will only improve from here. I will say that Penny's arm strength scares me, how long can we dink and dunk and get away with it. I am getting sick of 3rd and 15 and throwing for 7 yards. Don't get me wrong, I am loving what he is doing this year, but imagine what could be done if we had guy with a cannon back there. (henne?)
