What I believe is really going on with Fisher

Thanks for the insight CK.

I think your Dolphin info/speculation > 0.500 which in this day and age is HoF credentials

That's not my read on it. He's going to want some personnel power wherever he goes after what happened to him in Tennessee. He didn't want all the power. In fact, the chances are he's going to end up with more power in St. Louis than he was willing to accept here. He just wanted some say in things.

The story is that Stephen Ross has a ball gag with the word "IRELAND" written on it that he refuses to take out of his mouth.

yep...and there's fools on this board actually celebrating this decision from fisher today...i give up around here...so many lost

Hey I said earlier this week I didn't want Fisher, but we wouldn't land him and it would be because of Ireland. It really shows them dysfunction of this team! This coaching hire is a lame duck! BOOK IT!

I totally agree this was a big blow. Fisher would have been a culture changer. I really think he would have done very well here. I am not going to dwell on why he didn't take it. It really doesn't matter. There is such a drop off with the rest of the candidates.

Why he didn't take it probably does matter quite a bit. Pulling that thread would lead us to the root problems in this organization.

I actually like Ireland as a GM, but i think that Fisher + new GM > Ireland + fill in the blank
