What I dont get???

Miami has always been a play-off team. We won 10 games a year with Wanny and a bad offense and conservative play calling and a preventive defense! We lost Ricky last year and lost Boston and the morale was bad, thus we got clobbered record wise and yet still kept many games close. We go out and address the Ricky problem by getting Ronnie Brown and then also get Ricky back. Our defense is just as good as ever even though we lose Surtain. We have an offensive powerhouse potential now with great play calling and an aggressive coach for once! (Thank God) We dont have a great QB, but we never did with Fiedler either and I dont think You need a great QB, just an adequate one. I dont know where people think we are still a 4-6 game winning team. We should be right back where we were before last year as a playoff contender. What is the problem? We should be as feared as any good team in the AFC! That is my opinion, am I totally wrong?

I agree with your post! We are a playoff contending team this year! We will improve when Ricky returns.

Not to rain on your parade, but we missed the playoffs for two years under Wanny prior to last year. We didn't even make the playoffs when Ricky was the NFL's leading rusher!

However, I do agree with you that we will be beter than the so called "experts" think. just not sure about playoff bound.

One of those non playoff years we won 10 games. That is a rarity in the NFL.

I disagree. Just playing the 3 teams in our division makes our schedule tough every year. Throw in several other playoff teams and some mid-range teams, and we've been playing some pretty tough schedules.
