What I don't understand

But we're clearly struggling running the ball, is there a reason we did not sign him? Salary cap?

He was one of the most positives last year and I do not understand why we did not bring him back.

Miller sucked big time today, he was terrible.

What about bringing devvy in to replace miller?

This is what you always write, that I am an idiot, yet you choose to respond to my posts?

You respond because you know what I am talking about and make sense.

We get rid of players like Brandon Marshall and Reggie Bush, forgive me for the George Bush reference, I live in Texas.

Instead of ripping me by calling me an idiot, rip me a new a--hole with "fact" and some statistics.

The question still stands, why did we not make an effort to re-sign Reggie?

It's just the first game look at it this way we won which is something we haven't done opening the season up with a win.

I'll take the win, but we have to find a way to run the ball.

This was the hardest thing I had to watch today.

He isn't good.

Our oline is the reason why Miller struggled today. No holes anywhere for him to run. Adrian Peterson wouldn't of had a good game running behind this oline...

Thanks and that worries me.

I guess this above your head abit. But if you want 'FACT', Jeff Ireland would be your man to answer the question. As for statistics, look them up. ESPN.go and NFL.com have a players history sitting there at your fingertips.

Reggie Bush is no longer here. As a 'opinion' on a MESSAGE board, the CS wanted a plant and go running back. Not someone who dances in the backfield and hopes to break one.
Also, that money NOT spent on Reggie Bush, helped pay WR's and LB's, and both units represented themselves very well. Now if you want stats, go look them up and tell me different.

I see your point.

But we have to find a way to run the ball, its going to be a real long season if we can't.

Run blocking is horrid. That's the reason why Miller struggled. Nothing to do with his skills, just that the oline was horrible BESIDES Pouncey.

Resigning Bush should have been a priority. He was a proven scoring threat. This was one of those head scratching moves

The simple answer is the team wanted to spend to money elsewhere, ie receivers, and believed miller could produce good numbers at a much lower salary than Bush.

Because there is a salary cap, and spending a large chunk of it on a RB isn't
the best way to go these days. I know Bush did well today, and I'm happy for
him, but guess what you also heard about?

-Pulled groin.
-Broken thumb.

There's just so much value a RB has in this NFL
