I keep hearing from experts that we have depth issues and that injuries in key positions could lead to another difficult season for us.

Well tell me this then, what happens to the Patriots or Colts if Brady or Manning go down? Did you see any of their preseason games? Their offenses were PUTRID! They would be lucky to make it to .500 this season if that were to happen!
Though, you never hear about it when they talk about the depth of the so called favorites in the conference. So if there is any talk about depth on teams, it should start at the QB position.

The pundits are as flawed as you and I. "The problem with predictions is that they involve the future".

The fact is NO ONE in the NFL has any depth any more.

As you so aptly pointed out if one of the key players goes down on a team that's it.

The days of Joe Montana, and Steve Young being on the same team are virtually over.

The Dolphins have EVERY opportunity to be a playoff contender right now and we will cause teams fits and problems.

Last year's team was one of the greatest calamities in modern football.

This years team has been created in the image of Bill Parcels at his absolute best.

The Trifecta have reworked the physical, psyche, and spirit of this team into a competitive team in 8 months.

We are young and are a draft focused team so in a couple of seasons this team will be poised to be a perennial dynasty.

Next year all those big stars will want to come to Miami and will do it cheap.

Its time to take Miami back to glory days and our franchise needs to recapture the luster of yesteryear!

I completely agree with what you are saying, all the time they are putting down down the phins because of it. But they don't see that this other teams without their starting qb aren't going no where aether.

"Experts" like to pick on the down and out teams, and until we start winning that means Miami. Truth is hardly any teams could survive injuries to a 'few key players.'
Last year our team stunk. But tell me how many teams would have done well losing their starting QB, starting RB, starting MLB and both starting safeties (not to mention the plethora of other injuries we sustained).

We had to actually start Cameron worrel (sp?) who i still think was signed because cam liked his name more than anything. our secondary had an epidemic of the INJURY BUG and that is a huge reason for our season last year IMO.
