Trade down with the Cowboys or Cardinals both will be looking for a RB and hopefully one of the top two are available at 14.

Trade: Cowboys get 14, we get picks 27, 60, 91

  • First Round (27) - Collins OT/G LSU, Flowers OT/G Miami, or best offensive lineman available that can play guard. Finally get Dallas Thomas off the field.
  • Second Round (47) Kendricks LB UCLA if he is still available or Perryman LB Miami.
  • Second Round (60) DGB WR Oklahoma http://thelab.bleacherreport.com/DGB/ or Sammie Coats WR Auburn. We finally have the big WR threat on the outside that compliments the rest of our receiving core.
  • Third Round (91) Michael Bennet DT Ohio State or BPA We need some depth behind Mitchell and Suh.

I know we had a string of small school players last year but our best draft picks were early in the draft from big school with better completion.

First time doing this on the forum even though Ive read through so many.

I m all in favor of trading down to get extra picks but IDK if we go down that far unless we get an offer we cant refuse to drop back that far

dgb in round 2? id smash my tv

I doubt we would touch DGB. Last year we drafted all high character. Team captian types. But Tannenbaum is involved this year that's the wildcard

I'll do this:
#27 WR Devin Smith Ohio State / WR Breshad Perriman UCF / CB Marcus Peters Washington / CB Trae Waynes Michigan State
#47 LB Erick Kendricks UCLA / LB Paul Dawson TCU / RB Jay Ajayi Boise State / OG Laken Tomlinson Duke
#60 DE Nate Orchard Utah / TE Clive Walford Miami / DT Malcolm Brown Texas / DT Michael Bennet Ohio State
#91 OG BPA

1. Breshad Perriman WR
2a. TJ Clemmings OT/OG
2b. Paul Dawson LB
3. Steven Nelson CB

Thank you for your insight, Todd McShay.

I really hope they don't touch the POS DGB. I hope he can stay clean, but I doubt it. With all of the issues Jordan had, I doubt they take a chance.

I don't think Kendricks will last till 47, if he does I'll gladly eat crow on that. BUT I'm all in favor of trading down I think the most likely teams are Arizona, San Diego, and Dallas. Any of them could most certainly take Gordon if Gurley is gone (very possible)

I could be swayed in favor of Perriman in rd 1, but say we move to 27, I'd just pick Kendricks there. Fixes a lot on our D. If we decide to not pick him in rd 1 (what I'm banking on) I'd love to move up in the 2nd round, offer up a 5th & 6th or something not overly valuable

oh, and after the whole Dion Jordan fiasco, no way in hell we draft DGB

If we traded all the way down to 27 for those picks (which I wouldn't be opposed to) we should target Agholor, Devin Smith, Jaelen Strong or Kendricks. One of those guys will probably be there.
Get a playmaker, offensive or defensive round 1, then target a guard round 2 and BPA with the other 2nd and 3rd. As unpopular as it is, we almost have to take a guard in round 2 if we don't go Sherff or Collins round 1. IMO it's our biggest need by far. We can't keep wheeling Thomas out there. He's ****ing awful.
