One player and 2 other players or 3 other players that are really good doesn't make a great defensive unit, the defensive unit itself makes the unit a team. We might have the most talented defenders but in the first 2 games it prove to us that it doesn't matter how good your defensive unit is if its not executing as a unit and we executed without mercy and played the football that was promised to us fans and I'm really proud about miami.

Our defense only let the Jets have 10 points last week. I've been trying to tell you they didn't do badly out there. They did everything necessary to make sure the Jets didn't win that game.

Against the Texans, Dom Capers and David Carr carried out a perfect game plan and took advantage of the Dolphins unfamiliarity with the new schemes.
