what i love about this years team

after 5 -8 years of playing not to lose it is refreshing to see us throwing the ball down the field . i have always beleived in using a two te set or even a three te and two rb sets but to know that we have booker, boston, chambers ,welker and gillmore , i can sleep at night . I am not having nightmares of run, run, run, and punt . i know we are not as good as we were as the 84 team but we are more fun to watch now . i hope that we will use a 4 wr set more often so does anyone think we will use a 4 wr set any? i really like lorenzo diamond and randy mcmichael and i dont know who our third te is but i liked the rader kid and wish he was on the team. the tight ends and fullbacks are not appreciated as much as they used to be so i will say having the offense is a lot more fun now then compared to last year.:horsey:

This offense is 10x more fun to watch than 3 and outs of runs up the middle with a patchwork o-line, no offensive coordinator to speak of, and a backfield that took its life into its hands every time it lined up.
 
I just wish we'd see it more!...

I believe when Ricky comes back.. we'll see alot of interesting formations and completions for the receivers downfield!
 
The team is very exciting to watch. I was so sick of the 3 runs and punt series favored by Wanny. I can't help but believe that each and every game we will continue to improve throughout this year. Just getting comfortable in the new D and O systems is going to take a while. Then we'll see the play book really opened up!! I look forward to every Sunday now!! GO FINS !!!!!!!
 
I love watching the fins. It's so great. I make the extra effort to watch them and I get loud as hell too. I wish more fans would go support them each week though. It's a shamed that we can't pack a stadium like we used to. I live in DC so I unfortunately can't go very often, but believe me I'd have season tiks if I lived in Miami.

ya im bankin on that... cuz rightnow no one fears ronnie... but when ricky comes back u just gotta respect him....

After last week I bet the D cordinator gamplans for Ronnie.
 
A couple times I have seen where we've lined up 5 guys to catch the ball.....3 receivers on side and a TE and receiver on the other side....we also can use Ronnie coming out of the backfield....it is so much nicer to see this than the crap Wanny was using which was so predictable and resulted in numerous 3 plays and a punt. :mad:
 
This offense is going to get even more exciting as the Oline gels and the RBs find some holes, it will open up the passing game for chambers and booker to take advantage of. its going to be a fun offense to watch come into its own
 
boston really needs to start being taken out of our equation. he has one catch for 9 yards so far this season. maybe its because he sucks, or its because hes not getting any opportunities, it doesn't matter. what matters is we're not using him. I dislike how everyone thinks of bostons name before our other receivers. when everyone of them has outperformed him so far.
 
it is fun to watch them do their thing, and the offense is called with an uncanny sense of urgency with regards to scoring. i love it. its creative, and uses our talents as they should be, because, as you all know, we do have playmakers at the skills postions....it is refreshing to see this transition happening, and all i can do is hope they keep it up.
 
I love downfield passing but I despise 4-WR, no-back sets. IMO that allows the defense to assume the physical advantage and attack the line of scrimmage and especially the QB. I heard Bill Walsh say the same thing many times when he was an NBC commentator. You've got many more permutations if you keep one back in the set.
