Okay i'm going to start off with the discussion on

Marcus Vick

I say he should be thrown to atleast once this upcoming game. Lets atleast see what he can do. The same with Hagan. What is the point of signing young recivers if we can never see what they can do? I can see him coming out with a huge catch helping out Miami on 3rd and 13 or something like that.

Harrington or Lemon?

Harrington has played decent all season, but last game was horrible, but Cleo ended up being 9/16 at the end of the game. Although Joey is starting, I think they should share the games, Joey start, then Cleo coming in during the second half.

O-Line

they have been playing decent latly but we really need to draft a LG or let Fonoti play at LG or something. We could have a decent o-line with him in there, he seems like he could be pretty good. Or draft a o-line player in the upcoming draft.

Draft

We definetly need a o-line player, and deep backs, I mean really, we need someone who isn't stareing at the ball while the reciver is catching it.

(refering to a picture I have seen posted)

Yeah I know this is a split between the draft forum and here, but I decided to put it here.

If Miami signs Clements this offeseason then our defensive backfield problems would be solved only if we re-sign Yeremiah Bell and the Fins definitely need to draft a left tackle this offseason.

Nate Clements.... you mean a Bills player? :shudders: i rather have Asaunte Samuel if thats possible, we would be set at DB for awhile.

Nate Clements is a much better corner then Asante Samuel and shuts receivers down which is what the Fins need.

I think we need more turnovers on defense. Asuante Samuel has almost the same amount of INTs as the Dolphins whole team.

True, but Clements wants Champ Bailey Money. Id much rather have Asante, that way we could afford a LB like Thomas or possibly Briggs, and bring in a Vet. O-lineman.

They'll both want big money and I'd be happy to give it to either or.

Clements is going to want much more money than Asante Samuel will command and Briggs will also get more money than Adalius Thomas. I would like Samuel and Thomas so we wouldent be cap strung and have some cap left to bring in a Veteran Offensive Lineman, like Eric Stienbach (sp?)

I doubt we can make such a splash in free agency. Don't even begin to get me wrong, any mix of the players you just listed above would be so gosh darn b-e-a-utiful I'd probably be reduced to tears. But realistically, we'd be lucky to sign any one of those guys.

cb getting picks is kinda of a lucky thing to madison and t buck and couple of years where they got 7 plus picks but most coners dont get that every year but nate will coast alot

Bottom line is you HAVE to pay for lock-down, cover-corners. The last 2 years we've flirted with these free-agents such as Ty Law and beyond... but for 2 years, same story and same tune. Salary cap, they cost a lot of money, we must find "bang-for-the-buck", etc, etc, etc... We need to cowboy up and get at least one pro-bowl ability corner who can cover one-on-one, then we can roll guys over to help cover our weaker CB. Look at Denver's pass D since they traded Portis for Champ Bailey. I'm not saying trade anyone, but we HAVE to seriously consider all options to get a top-flight CB in here. We are a top 5 D with questionable DB's, we could be utterly dominant with Jason Allen at safety and a new #1 DB. Will Allen would be a GREAT #2 CB, and Travis Daniels would be great as our nickel back. We have to get something done in the offseason, and NOT draft a guy to sit on the bench like Jason Allen this year... we need a proven commodity, not another Jamar Fletcher.

My vote goes to Samuel. He has better hands for the interception than Clements and with our pass rush, he will get a lot with the Phins and he is younger.
