Option 1: I think we should move Vernon Carey to left tackle I thought he did a good job there at the start of last season. LJ Shelton was a right tackle in Arizona and he is known for his run blocking. I heard he struggled in pass blocking last year well i know he did against Dwight Freeney he gave up like 3 sacks that game he does not have very quick feet. Keep Jeno at LG and keep Rex at right guard with Seth at center who is improving but still not great so..

LT: Carey
LG: James
C: Seth
RG: Rex
RT: LJ

Option 2: Move Vernon to RG, Rex to center LJ to RT where i think is his best position. Jeno stays at LG and we sign Mike Pearson from the Jags who was very good untill Inury issues.

LT: Pearson
LG: Jeno
C: Rex
RG: Carey
RT: LJ

Option 3: Draft Max Jean Gilles and put him at RG.

LT: LJ
LG: Jeno
C: Rex
RG: Gilles
RT: Carey

What do you guys lilke the best?

i like all ur scenarios..but here is one

LT - Shelton
LG - James
C - Hadnot
RG - Carey
RT - Alabi

I look for Burger to step up this year. I watched him play for Car in last years preseason and he even started a game. He was awesome and I was excited when we got him because they had him on the PS. They were sorry and mad when we got him.

You cannot judge Shelton by what Feeney did early in the season. Feeney was giving everyone, including Jonathan Ogden, fits.
Unless we draft a RT, I think we should leave Carey there. He's played a different position every year and he needs to be at one position long enough to become effective.
Max Jean-Gilles would be a good pick if we had a 2nd round pick.

I really think we need a big run blocker at right guard. Gilles would be good if we traded down. I really want us to sign Pearson.

My dream is:

LT: Shelton
LG: James
C: Hadnot
RG: Carey
RT: Justice

I could definitely live with:

LT: Carey (I think he has to play T on this side)
LG: James
C: Hadnot
RG: Taitusi Lutui
RT: Shelton

We picked him up off of the Carolina Pantrhers practice squad. He was a rookie and a very impressive player for them. Saban got him and he was automatically on ouir gameday roster. Living in NC I seen all the preseason games and as soon as we got him I thought he might get a start for us last year. Don't be surprised if he makes a position battle somewhere in the line. He was a four year starter and was up for the o-lineman award in college and played both gaurd and tackle.

i think its going to happen this way too unless depending on the draft and what happens in training camp.

This looks even better.
ANY line rotation that does NOT have McKinney starting is cool
with me though:cooldude:
