1st Round, pick 1-5 - Gaines Adams, DE/OLB, Clemson. Clemson would give us a great pass rush to be coupled with JT on either end in either our 4-3 or our 3-4. Our lack of being effective while blitzing has to do with the fact that Donnie Spragan just isn't getting the job done.

2nd Round, pick 33-38 - Tim Zibikowski, SS, Notre Dame. We need a second playmaker back there with Jason Allen, and if we got TZib into camp on time, he could definitely be that. He has the range, speed, and hands, as well as the ability to relieve welker as a kick returner, to be able to impact this team from various facets.

3rd Round, pick 64-69 - Brandon Gore, RG, VA Tech. - Can play either tackle or guard, versitile lineman with great size (6'5, 359) who is a mauler with great strength, somewhat raw, but still a player and a potential force.

that might be the smartest mock in terms of what position ur draftin. referin to the players i wouldnt know because i dont watch much college but i would have to agree. if we draft CJ for there will be a controversy with Chambers, and Booker is a gr8 second WR regardless plus we took hagan last year and although he's inconsistent hes shown some potential at times.

I like it all, except how high Adams is going. Regardless, I love the players.
One thing though, I thought Allen played SS already(though I know it doesn't matter much since Saban views them as left and right safeties)?

I'm not feelin it man! We could pick up all of those three via free agency. I think we should go LT, CB, and LB. Is Zibokowski declaring?

I would prefer to see WR(assuming it's CJ), then LT/CB/OLB, then OLB/CB/C(whichever we don't use in round 2, and BPA of the 3), but to say I would be unhappy with those picks(at this point of the year) would be a lie.

I think Calvin Johnson is the sexiest pick coming out of the draft in years. Everyone WANTS to draft him. But man, we NEED Joe Thomas.

I want Thomas a lot. But I think we might even be able to get someone like Jake Long in the 2nd round, and I think he could wind up being a franchise LT too(not neccesarilly an all-pro though).

is zibkowski goin to NFL or is he goin boxin ? i hope nfl cuz he cood lay sum hits on people such as patsies players:D ( troy brown, chad jackson, :fire: tom brady :fire: on safety blitz

love the draft. I would look at CJ and Joe Thomas before Adams. Otherwise, I like the picks in the 2nd and 3rd

Draft talk in October? :shakeno: I hate football

Just for reference, there is draft talk about the next year the day immediately following the current years draft.

With that said, baseball in october? :shakeno: I hate baseball.

I doubt Zibikowski last until the second, although if he did I would be ecstatic.

And Allen plays the "FS" role in our defense. A "SS" suited player would compliment him nicely.

tom zibowkowski, not sure if i spelled his name right, might be a 3-5 round pick. If he continues with boxing because nfl teams want you to concentrate only on football. Im guessing he lands at round 3

He wouldn't be boxing during the season, and if he was serious about becoming an NFL pro, I doubt he would do anything to jeopardize his career. At this point, if he didn't go before the end of round 2(which I find hard to believe he'd ever slip to mid 2nd), I would be speechless.
