i just thought i could stir up things here a little. What if both Brady Quinn and Levi Brown were gone by the 9 pick.Maybe say the lions take Quinn or Browns and maybe the Cards or Texans take Brown.Well my question is then who. What player would u draft ann can be he a starter by week 1.That is what this teams needs, not a project like Jason Allen.Imho if it ever came down to this scenario i like to managment trade down and maybe get a 2nd or 3rd pick.I go down as far as 20 if that what it took.Let just curious what every 1 thinks.

Then I would take the next best LT or QB available. :D

You have to start looking at trading down, and aquiring another 2nd rounder. I would then draft the BPA at WR and with my 2nd the best OL and QB available.

Dwayne Jarrett and Alan Branch would be where I'd start looking if they're still around. Branch isn't too likely to be there. If Jarrett's gone as well I think you gotta look at trading down.

moot point to me, I never expected them to be there anyway. I dunno who I want, plenty of time yet.

it would be BPA 100% then. whether its S, DE, DT, OLB, or WR mainly.

i can't figure out who would take branch. i think it'll be iether bucs, cardinals or texans. personally i dont want him b/c of tractor and wright coming back. i rather hit a need via bpa other then branch for now. we have too many young ones at DT to prvoe themsevles this year.

S, DE, DT, OLB, or WR???

We've got to pickup a LT, C, and QB. How can you draft ahead of these positions? Makes no sense. :ninja:

If Brady Quinn Isnt There At 9

1st Round. Dwayne Jerrett
2nd Round. Troy Smith
3rd Round. The Best Ol Available
4th Round. The Best Safety Available
5th Round. The Best Linebacker Available
6th Round. The Best Cornerback Available
7th Round. The Best Ol Available

This means someone like Peteren or Branch or Anderson slid and that would mean a lot of interest from a lot of teams and we could garner a few extra picks. Why would you stop at 20. If we traded with say Baltimore, we could pick up their 2nd and another pick.

I'm not a big Quinn fan and I'm not sold just yet on Brown being a value pick at 9. I think our secondary is abysmal and needs to be addressed. I like either Laron Landry or Reggie Nelson in the first or Brandon Merriweather in the second, if we don't go secondary with our first pick. Having said that, I have no freaking clue which direction we go as we have so many holes to fill.
GO PHINZ!!! :dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:

Exactly. Quinn is the guy that I want most out of our "realistic" options, and I wouldn't mind having Brown, but not all would be lost if they are both gone. Because if Levi Brown goes before nine, which seems more probable each passing day, that means that one of the guys initially rated higher should fall to us. I would be very pleased if we added Adams, Anderson or Branch to our defense, or could trade down with someone enamored with Ginn, Peterson or whomever else is available.

lmaoo. did you read his post? if htey aren't there in round 1! you want a C at the 9th pick? or Stanton? or even Staley? those are the potential next best players at those positions and you want to reach on em about a full ROUND like the bills did with that DT? i dont even know who on earth he is or waht happened to that man.

u dont draft b/c u need somethin 234234 rounds to early.
