mychal kendricks and brandon boykin? chip kelly wants jordan and can rid the roster of players he didnt draft in the process. we can then take mychals brother erick in the first round after a trade back because imo we need more than 1 linebacker position filled. The two brothers have been said to love to play together obviously and i think that tandem could really take our defense to the next level. We could also pick up a second rd pick on the trade back and fill the rest of the holes on the roster. Thoughts?

The cap hit on trading him isnt worth it IMO. Lets stop trying to trade this guys and use him correctly. If it doesnt work out this year, drop him next season.

Chip Kelly obviously doesn't want jordan as bad as some people think

Did you miss the other thread? Was hoping for a new idea in here or something..

Has Chip Kelly came out saying he wants Jordan ?

I haven't seen him say this anywhere ? Where the hell are people getting this information ?

Chip Kelly wants Jordan ? According to what statement from Chip Kelly ?

Kendricks & Boykin for Jordan is a good deal because we need a Nickle CB with Wilson leaving, PLUS a LB. Then you can use # 14 for BPA and/or trade back for more picks. Mathis is OK; but for his salary & age, MAYBE worth a 6th.

I think McCain is here to play nickel

Considering a few things, including C.Wake likely being gone in the next 1 year or 2 and the fact that D.Jordan is a young talent. Let's hold off on trying to get rid of him at every freaking opportunity..is that cool?

I say keep him and fire the coaches that cant use the talent

If D. Jordan is getting stronger, smarter and seasoned to be Cam Wake's replacement, then I'm willing to wait. It appears that Cam Wake and/or Grimes may be cap casualties next year and we need to get younger and cheaper in both spots.

Guess there's no chance of the mods setting up a Dion Jordan Trade Sandbox where people can play away to their hearts content without clogging up the main forum. I can't take another one of these threads.

Jordan has got a very long way to go to even being considered being a replacement . For one he would have to beat out guys ahead of him. Second he hasn`t shown to being consistant in being able in beating O linemen. So far he hasn't shown enough to me that would warrant keeping. But with that contract we are probably stuck with him until at least next year when he can be had for next to nothing.

The only reason he is still here is the cap hit. One of worst dolphin draft picks ever
