acted from the orders of Turner? One of the big knocks on Martin was he wasn't physical or tough enough, he was basically soft. Turner (a former Marine) went to Incognito (veteran leader and tough guy) and told him to toughen Martin up? Not excusing Incognito, and if this is the case he went way too far and should be held accountable, but looking at the transcripts of text and VM's I can't imagine any person talking that way to another unless there was an agenda or true hatred for that person.

I know it's crazy and way out there, but heck this whole story is out there. Maybe Turner orderd the Code Red.

We are not anywhere close to comparing Martin to Robbie Benson's character in One on One, the ultimate story about an athlete who overcame malicious hazing.

This is no different than a classic "blanket party" in the military. When you have an under performer, the unit reminds him of his duties. That guy either shapes up or ships out. It happens all the time in Alpha male cultures .... and I've seen and heard of a lot worse.

If you pay attention to most NFL players, they're trying to say this, while saying "they've" never been a part of it or seen it. But, they know and anybody who's been around these environments know.

Not blaming the so called "victim", just stating some reality.
