  • The Miami Dolphins have had success in years past at knocking off the New England Patriots. If there is a team that can do it, it is the Miami Dolphins - they've given the Pats a run for their money before- moreover they've beaten them earlier this season. Miami has a chance but it is a small one. New England do not need to win the game so they could kick back and let Miami go crazy. Look around the NFL, crazy things are happening. Like the Jets beating the Steelers a couple weeks back and of course, yesterday's Raiders victory against the 49ers.
  • Am not saying they will but if they did, I would start looking around for the other signs of the Apocalypse.
  • More importantly, this is Joe Philbins last stand. He doesn't have to coach scared anymore, his team needs to play with reckless abandon.
      • GO PHINS !!






 
If we beats the pats...then we definitely lose to the Vikings and Jets. It's the way things roll for us.
 
Then we get two more weeks of playoff talk

What part of WE DON'T HAVE AN NFL OL do people not understand?

What part of WE DON'T HAVE A DL that can control LOS, stop the run and consistently pressure passer do people not understand?

What part of WE DON'T HAVE NFL talent at TE and many WR positions do people not understand?

What part of WE ARE PLAYING with a poor LB CORPS do people not understand?

When the losses and injuries mounted our depth was shown for what it is: Scrubs.

You can't win with scrubs.

We've had to DRASTICALLY overpay at key positions like LT and #1 WR to even be mediocre at those positions. Why? Cause Philbin doesn't value real talent and couldn't draft it if it smacked him upside the face.

He also can't evaluate talent well. The choice of Gibson and Hartline at WR are 100 percent on him. As well as the choice of Ellerbe and Wheeler at LB -- again, totally on Philbin and totally an unforced error. The choice of Dallas Thomas is totally on Philbin -- as is the decision to play him against all odds, as if he were a real NFL player.

All this is on Philbin. These are HIS CHOICES, coupled with completely stupid and arrogant statements that he doesn't need dominant players at TE, WR and OL.

This lack of depth and terrible talent at key positions is ALL ON PHILBIN.

Hickey can't save all this crap in one year.

If we had lost the last 2 vs them I'd give us a shot. I give us no shot this week, Pats looking at a 40 or 50 burger.

Was about to say the same thing. So far, when the game is on the line, this team has folded like a cheap lawn chair. The evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of a let down.
